I don't know if it's the mixing or vocals, it felt a bit too relaxed and spacious. Like, its needs more power and color. There are times the music drowns out the vocals. since you use FL Studio, choose Fruity Limiter from the mixer and the Dunking Music Behind Voice preset. i love to use this along with Vocal Presence in Fruity Parametric EQ 2. maybe a bit of stereo in it? (I use Fruity Chorus for this, or to get fancy, have the same file but panned far right, slight right, slight left, and far left) All of these are free stock stuff although Dictate mixes them. anyways, amazing vocals as always
Oh, I've noticed this too- the music drowning out the vocals. If I'm not looking at the lyrics, I can barely hear what's being said. Though this happens with other songs, not to this degree. I love the covers and lyrics very much I just wished the contrast was better.
