Nice video. Can you do one in a light tank? I mean, there's a good take away for general light tank play for sure, but active scouting in a traditional light tank is definitely what I'm looking for and they don't have inertial dampeners. The WoT physics engine wasn't designed for armored cars, there would be a lot less traction when throwing around 15+ tons the way they are allowed to do here. That's why "tanks" have treads.
@@Faruq-xn4gj Well, optics increases your viewrange 10% or 11.5% CVS decreases their camo while driving by 10% or 12.5% and behind bushes 15% or 20%. So lets say you got a standard viewrange of 390m and an enemy with 40% camo rating. spotting range = viewrange-(viewrange-50)*camocoefficient With CVS in scouting slot and optics in other you get 429-(379*0.275) = 324.775m while they drive With optics in scouting slot and CVS in other you get 434.85-(384.65*0.3) = 319.455m while they drive Also tried it with 330m viewrange 363-(313*0.275) =276.925 367.95-(317.95*0.3) = 272.565 Works the same btw if you were using bino's 487.5m(390 - CVS) -> 487.5-(437.5*0.275) = 367.2 497.25m(390 - binos) -> 497.25-(447.25*0.3) = 363.1 and 412.5m(330 - CVS) -> 412.5-(362.5*0.275) = 312.8 420.75m(330 - binos) -> 420.75-(370.75*0.3) = 309.5) For bushes CVS is even better so all in all CVS is probably the better option, unless you're trying to spot a tank that aint moving and is in the open.
Check the spotting value if you move optics in and out. If it is just 2-3 m difference, I go for CVS. Alternatively, you can put optics in, then replace them with CVS when you get bond optics.

QB talks about the camo net in 2021, even in 2015 camo net was useless. Also a lot of tomatos play the wheelies and die in the first 30 secs, and thats why they have bad stats. I makred ebr 105, i tried cvs too, idk bond optics, rammer, vents, worked for me better, i needed that dpm in some maps, in the late game the ebr can farm easily 3-4k dmg + the assist from early game. Ps. I marked today the Amx 13 105 too (bond optics, vents and stabs), (also, Sheridan, t100 and rhm light 2 marked at the moment, i will grind the 3 mark later) I find it easy to outplay ebrs with other light tanks. I had a session today with 13 105, 8 games, 2k avg dmg and 5.2k avg spot..i was lucky with map rotation , but also every game had enemy ebr, and i needed to outplay them.

Ventsfor instance improve the vision by roughly 10 meters, while you could have max spotting distance already covered without it. There are other "unicum's guide" series out there too that may be useful, I just remember Lemmingrush's videos being particularly informative.
Aye a two day wait for a video😎 very cool quickybabyw
The only one competent Lynx 6x6 player I have ever seen. Those things rarely survive the firts 3 minutes.
Lynx is tough. And I'll have to play it FOREVER since it's 110k exp. to unlock the Tier IX.
This is a very nice format. Please do this for all the rest of the classes (med, heavy, td) 😁
When you turn with the lynx, should you turn off rapid mode and then turn it back on?
survive while providing good info to your team as your power raises as there are fewer tanks on the map to let you flank and be sneaky.
i have a lt question. if there are two or more lt on a team, should they split up to cover more area or stay together?
It's interesting that everyone has forgotten that the ebr's have the ability to rev their engines while stationary to get as acceleration boost. Although you can't do it too often.
I swear they removed that
Your a real good player QB !
Light tanks are to fast for me /skill cap to high.
But love to see how you do thinks and your explenation.
Your the best "reporter" of all WoT content creators
do the same on a 2 perk crew, normal equipment, no rations and no directives. Good luck.
Qb. Would you call the eld with the 105 a td or light tank......?
Any advice for a free to play player that is grinding up light tank lines with a 75% crew and no equipment?
I kinda like camo before I've gotten any of my crew camo skills up. Afterwards, it's less important.
7:59 mate you just got 50% of the spotting, don't act like you were the one spotting
I thought the same thing, lol
he never said that he EXCLUSIVELY was the one spotting, he just said he was spotting
Saw it Live... Great performance!
Very nicely played, QB
Light Tank scouting slot, what equipment to put in there coating optic or commander vision system?
Probably depends on the tank, I have CVS in the special slot
Depends: you going for the active or passive option?
@@polyliker8065 Active scout probably, if passive scout I'm going use binocular.
@@Faruq-xn4gj
Well, optics increases your viewrange 10% or 11.5%
CVS decreases their camo while driving by 10% or 12.5% and behind bushes 15% or 20%.
So lets say you got a standard viewrange of 390m and an enemy with 40% camo rating.
spotting range = viewrange-(viewrange-50)*camocoefficient
With CVS in scouting slot and optics in other you get
429-(379*0.275) = 324.775m while they drive
With optics in scouting slot and CVS in other you get
434.85-(384.65*0.3) = 319.455m while they drive
Also tried it with 330m viewrange
363-(313*0.275) =276.925
367.95-(317.95*0.3) = 272.565
Works the same btw if you were using bino's
487.5m(390 - CVS) -> 487.5-(437.5*0.275) = 367.2
497.25m(390 - binos) -> 497.25-(447.25*0.3) = 363.1
and
412.5m(330 - CVS) -> 412.5-(362.5*0.275) = 312.8
420.75m(330 - binos) -> 420.75-(370.75*0.3) = 309.5)
For bushes CVS is even better so all in all
CVS is probably the better option, unless you're trying to spot a tank that aint moving and is in the open.
Check the spotting value if you move optics in and out. If it is just 2-3 m difference, I go for CVS. Alternatively, you can put optics in, then replace them with CVS when you get bond optics.
Like how the su-101 says "good" like: YEAH I WAS EXPECTING YOU TO CARRY THAT SHIT, IF YOU COULDNT, then YOU ARE A NOOB
I dont play light tanks anymore, since clown cars were introduced
I don't play World of Tanks 😎😎😎
@@Xiphactinus cuz you don't have a pc
I get why you say this, personally I still love playing light tanks cus there is nothing more satisfying then outplaying a ebr in my manticore. That being said you have to be good enough to actually beat them xD
@@javadoffss I do.

Coated optics comander vision system and silent exhust on many light tanks
Is a Camonet and a silent exhaust thing bad for a ELC EVEN 90?
i like to have an extra light tank category, a sort of support tank like the Super Chaffee
Amazing game, it was awesome seeing it live!
12:44 and this is why I don't play WoT anymore.
I have no clue where that shell went, was it a miss?
Was it a ghost shell? rewinding slowmotion doesn't yield any answers either.
hey quickybaby I have a question when. I play wot the light bulb does not appear on any game of mine. I always get shot because its not appearing. Maybe its in the setteings or?
yeah 4 full crew skill, comsumable, and extra coated optic
Remembered me the time I got one of my best game with BC12t, spotted 8k and dealed 4k.
What about passive spotting and mounting low exhaust system in place of optics
When you're in your hotwheels, say trololol at the start of the game. Press x, press w and laugh
Anyone else triggered by Quicky calling a wheeled vehicle a tank?
Wheels + Tank = Wank
@@CapitalRoach theels
well, I think it the name, but here in Mexico there are some kind of them, and we call them "carro blindado" or "armoured car", but I think it's really similar to a tank XD
@@CapitalRoach I like that one jajaja
@@cienciaplay1211 It is an armoured fighting vehicle/car. The thing with a tank is no matter what, it must have a tracked system. So a wheeled vehicle can never be a tank. Equally, not everything with tracks is a tank.
I contribute to the lynx's poor winrate. I do fine, but have a 35% WR over 80 games. (I have a mark and green wn8, so around 50-51 is appropriate)
@CammadantX Green Wn8 not good :( You are not the worse player but by not contributing enough dmg that might have been the difference in many games Like in Qbs video he went behind Tds and farmed them those are the plays you need to be making in the Ebrs to win those tough games
A lot of light tanks branches should get a buff like Chinese, English, German, Americans
WG: he says we neet to buff russian lt, especially the tier 8 prem
I mean American doesn’t but the rest I agree with
@@TheBigVadi yeah sure it isn't the 2nd best t8 light tank before Ferrari
@@parallaxuk8497 Sheridan and bulldog at least, and I think T49 should have a little buff
What do you think about the low noise exhaust system? Personally I like it, because it makes it easier to get to the bushes unspotted.
Only good on elc even 90
@@biz-0144 And all British light tanks I assume, since they have similar stat design.
I'd put commander vision system and coated optics as mandatory. The 3th slot is up for debate imo. There are quite a lot that certainly help light tanks, but none are very good either. Ventsfor instance improve the vision by roughly 10 meters, while you could have max spotting distance already covered without it. I dunno if the turbo charger makes enough of a difference to get to spots fast enough to not get spotted.
Personally I don't aim to enhance my combat abilities as LT. That's not really in the job description of a LT imo.
i have just started to play my first light tech tree couple of days ago
Which tree/nation?
@@justinkashtock333 france amx, I know it was probably best to start with SSRS cuz it has some armor, but I was going for ebr and changed my mind last second ;D
I would love to see a video on the ELC EVEN 90.
Could you do more of this kind of video, about how to play and tank review
Ive had a few insanely good matches in my light tanks i have goten a few matches where ive carried the team with any where between 7-9kills
I would be more impressed, if you did this with an actual LT.
But it really hard to play light tank for the new player.I tried to passive scout with camo net and binocular but always get spotted first by enemy light tank and retreat to late due to lack of 6 sense. When i try active scout,i always get spotted before i can see anything and it really hard to safety return to my base after each race
Good, now do it again with British LTs
Or even the tier 6 French LT - sure it has the repeater, but it also has limited ammo, it's slow to get moving, and it maneuvers like a whale on a water slide - that last play flanking another tank while climbing a hill would NOT be happening.
2nd worst tier 8 LT? Statistically, I agree. Because the Lynx is very hard to play, and most players can't make it work.
But that doesn't mean it is the 2nd worst tier 8 LT.
When player with >3k WN8 play it, you just wish he's on your team.
This game doesn't have a skill-based scaling system for any tank, so rating anything without considering who is playing them will lead to a misunderstanding.
