All these people thinking clearing a CEL is doing anything but just temporarily turning the light off you need to address why it is coming on, if there is a CEL you need to FRIKIN CHECK THE ENGINE or dont I need a pool and jet skis.

Plug in the adapter and obd2 device make sure your ignition is on. Goto obd2 app and back to wifi setting n your phone. Turn off and turn on your wifi. This will help your device discoverable.
For those wondering about the app. It is the “Car Scanner ELM OBD2” and it’s a white check engine light with blue background.
