THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE CAMPUS BECAUSE THE CAMPUS IS SAFE. THE PROBLEMS OCCUR OFF CAMPUS, AND FALL UNDER THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PHILADELPHIA POLICE FORCE. THE CITY IS NEVER INCLUDED IN THESE DISCUSSIONS, AND ARE NEVER HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR FAILURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always remember that the police have no obligation to protect individuals and will not be there in time to save you. You're responsible for your own safety. You're on your own. I don't blame people for not wanting to be police and have their every move armchair quarterbacked and criticized. It's a tough job and I have tremendous respect for those who choose to do it after everything that's happened in the last few years..
Parents should take out large life Ins policies on their kids if they’re foolish enough to send them to Temple’s main campus.
