Root LineageOS 18.1 using Magisk Manager and TWRP Recovery.

It is not necessary so much paperwork, do this:
You download the application (only magisk manager NOT TWRP) of the page as it says in the video
Rename it as zip, transfer it to the sd card and to the cel memory (both in the download folder, or whatever easy to locate)
Turn off the cell.
Turn on in boot mode (from lineage, "vol-" + "power")
Tap on "Apply Update", then "choose from disk" Find the zip and tap, mesage "check fail !", proceed the same? tap YES
reboot when finished.
On lineage with the phone on, you are looking for the app that should already be

Hi, thanks for the videos. I also have a GalaxyS7, and Lineage18.1. I see Magisk when I restart, but I am told by Magisk that a complementary install is necessary, and it requires a reboot. The Rootchecker says that root is not properly installed... Any idea? I have also installed TWRP 3.5.2-9 and Magisk 3

So you have ADB installed I'm assuming. Have you installed drivers for you phone? Sometimes if the drivers are not installed or out-of-date the phones will not show up in ADB. If you have the driver installed, try and Uninstall them and reinstall them to see if that helps. Also you need to make sure USB debugging is enabled on your phone.

You need to connect to wifi so that it updates the root. When you root your phone and open the manager it will say N/A so you need to connect to wifi and you will see a pop-up come up asking "Need to restart to finish updating"

Or, are you on lineage? Lineage need TWRP first and root from there.

How to boot Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Download Mode:
Switch off your device completely.
- you can remove its battery and then re-insert it after several seconds have gone by.
Now, press and hold Volume Down, Home and Power, all at the same time.
Release all buttons when you see the Warning! screen.
Next, press the Volume Up button to confirm that you want to boot Download Mode for your Note 3 device.
Download Mode menu will appear and you can go on with your business, by connecting the phone to your computer.
Use Odin to push files to your device from computer.

@@el-tikis-1190 So I know sometimes it could be the firmware you are trying to flash. I found sometimes using "frija firmware tool" to find the right firmware worked. If that doesn't work you can try Updating your phone because sometimes Odin won't work with an unUpdated phone (depending on the firmware your trying to flash).

Did you just buy the phone? I know if you have a Verizon Version phone you will not be able to root it until after 40 days (from registering your phone). The person that gave me his oneplus to root just bought a Verizon version and had to take it back and then bought an international version where you don't need to wait any amount of time before it becomes unlocked. You need a rooted phone to be able to install TWRP Recovery from within your own phone.

You can root it first without a computer by trying apps like Kingo Root, FramaRoot, One Click Root, KingRoot, Universal Androot, and TowelRoot. When it's rooted you can then download TWRP app and flash the recovery from there. Or you can download a paid version of Odin Mobile and flash a Magisk patched image from your own phone.

I should do some videos on rooting without computer (always used computers), but I think I had issues trying to root Magisk without computer and without TWRP. Never tried on LineageOS mind you so maybe that's something I'll try and record and hopefully be successful in doing that. Thanks! 😀
