Me too, but then i realize that i dont need other people to control my own feeling/reason to continue my life because only me who really care about myself.
Are they really tho? Imo all of the characters are looking for a place to live in, for a purpose of life. Take Atsushi for an example - he wants to prove his worth, he sees the ADA as his family. And not only Atsushi, same goes for Yosano. She had no place in this world besides the battlefield, until Fukuzawa took her to the Agency. Of course this can also be said about Ranpo and the others. Idk I feel like the "Stray Dogs" are exactly that - wandering, looking for a place to survive and hoping for a better tomorrow
