Why is this anime so fucking sad? He truly regrets leaving everyone and these 17 years behind especially since he can now see things from a different perspective but like the lyrics tell he tells himself that it was the right choice and his goal which he couldn't forget. Also Sui couldn't confess her feelings which she will now never be able to and like everyone else miss him. Even his ability is kind of sad since he wanted to understand others so he got his ability but he never let people near him and pushed them away because of his trust issues and therefore never tried to understand the people he loved.
