I completely agree with 79943. I watched several videos on disassembly and assembly of the M1 Carbine and wasted about 2 hours trying to get it disassembled. I watch your video and got it done in 10 minutes. You're the man! Thanks
So many of these carbine videos make it look like these parts just drop together easy peasy while in fact they do NOT. They have to be oriented and lined up exactly right or they will not reassemble. Yours is the first video I have seen that points this out. It is more like putting a difficult puzzle back together until you get very familiar with it. Nice job.
I have a problem with mine. When I release the bolt it slams forward and gets stuck and has to be pounded back with mallet gently to unstick it. Any suggestions

I've got several more gun videos too. Hey thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video. It is much better than other m1 carbine take down/reassemble videos.
Hey thanks for watchin'. Check out all of my "Reloading and Guns" video playlist.

That is so true, you must know your firearm. Be safe and thanks for watching.

Check your op-rod, it may be bent.
Okay, thanks. I'll check it again.
Any news on that?
Unusual how the firing pin is without a spring inside of the bolt.
Kinda similar to the mini 14s imo. I appreciate the video, just picked up a really nice Winchester M1.
Winchesters are very nice, thanks for watching.
I’m waiting for my form 4 to come back of one of these, so I’m looking for one of these to use in full auto.
I`m sure that there are several to be found, but they are expensive.
Great video thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching.
