Thank you for posting this video. You did a really nice job explaining every step. I’m new at this and sure appreciate your way of explaining the entire process.
Hey, thanks for watchin'. I got more videos like this, check em out.
What about the 5 round en bloc? I assume it must be loaded empty side down, but maybe it can be loaded either way?
I only use the regular clips, I think they all load the same. Hey thanks for watchin'.
Awesome tutorial sir!! TY! Any suggestions on a red dot mount?
I don't use em, I'm sure they make a mount for a Ruger. Hey thanks for watchin'.
Did not help at all. Cleaned tank with 0000 steel wool, dried, installed and dried 1 hour. Leaked just as before.
Check your riser pipe, mine had a small crack. Fixed with duct tape.
@jeffpattersonmadcityvideos3413 it leaks into the bowl constaly but slowly for 1 minute, then a large refill of tank. Very consistant time for leak and refill. Not leaking outside of tank at all
@@daleroads2755 Check the water level in the tank, is it running over the top of the overflow tube?
@jeffpattersonmadcityvideos3413 it was not overflowing but close to the top. I have lowered water level adjustment and reduced flow rate at fill valve. Has helped. Thank you
@@daleroads2755 Hey thanks for watchin'.
Nice set up you have there !
Hey, thanks I appreciate it. I got a lot of videos on my "Reloading and Guns" playlist, check em out. Thanks for watchin'.
Bit he covers cleaning the area for a new ring seal that goes under the flapper. You can replace the flapper all day but it wont work if the seal isnt new and or very clean. Replace the seal ring under the flapper!
That's right.
You can send empty cases through that Bulge buster too right? or is it mainly for loaded rounds?
I guess you could, but it's ment for loaded ammo.
Beautiful!!! I got same issue with my HPM700 wood case give up. What kind of veneer wood you are using?
PureEdge veneer real wood.
Why the crayons?!? What purpose do they serve?!?
They help to see if a bullet has been lubed, and it's looks good.
Very neat, gotta give it a try
Not hard to do, hey thanks for watchin'.
Illegal where I'm from
TO BAD. It's good to live in a Free State. Hey thanks for watchin'.
Dang shame you bent the all-thread bolt on the tire changer.
Think it was my fault(one to many spacers) bent it back no problem.
You forgot to inspect the rim for weld splater
The rim was good to go. Thanks for watchin'.
Cooooool
Hey, check out my Reloading & Guns Playlist. Thanks for watchin'.
Nice work, very clear!
Hey I got more videos like this, check em out. Thanks for watchin'.
The rear sight you took off what brand is it?/ were did you get it
LaserLite, I don't remember where I bought it. Don't think they they are still available any more. Hey thanks for watchin'.
Awesome information, thank you.
Hey thanks for watchin', got more videos like this check em out.
My forearm moves up and down when it’s all assembled. Am I missing a part. This was gifted to me from wife’s pappaw.
Don't know, it will have a very little play but not much.
@ yeah mine slides about 2-4”
@@JarJarDoinks69 That's not good, I don't have a clue.
I will try the silencers on my excalibur. Thanks!
They do seem to help some, hey thanks for watchin'.
C2 crank hooks have a recall on them due to possible breakage danger
I'll check it out. Hey thanks for watchin'.
Beautiful Job, but with all the love you put into them I expected you to take it to the end. Why not? All you needed to do was paint the back & front & replace the speakers. That's easy work after that! lol
These speakers were my Son's, and he lives in another state, what you saw were the way I got the speakers. He did all of the electronics ( he is a computer wiz). I painted the back of 1 speaker to match the other, my Son did not want the front of them painted(I touched up the front some) once the speakers were installed they covered up all the other spots. Hey thanks for watchin'.
Can you put a link to that light bulb in the video description? Everything I am finding is 40+ bucks which is insane for a new bulb.
2 Pack, Fulfilled by Amazon, New Microwave Oven Light Bulb Lamp Globe Z187 125V 20W. $10.99 What a deal. Hey thanks for watchin'.
I have the same speakers with the same problems. Thanks a lot, I am motivated to restore them.
Yes sir, hey thanks for watchin'.
Remarkable craftsmanship. I would have given up on these. I'll remember the stirring stick trick of yours.
I think the speakers turned out good, hey thanks for watchin'.
is this same for winchester 1400 semi auto?
I don't know, never had one. Thanks for watchin'.
How old is your 500? I bought a new one about a month ago, the stock and grip is very light color, not shiny at all. I was thinking of finishing the grip and stock.
I bought it new in the early 80's. Can't beat a Mossberg Shotgun. Hey thanks for watchin'.
Doesnt the wax on the string server lubricate the rails when it passes over? I notice you never put anything on the server.
Yes it does, but not enough for the hole rails. It's got long rails. Hey thanks for watchin'.
I have restored water damaged cabinets before, but not to this extent, I put 3 or four coats of sanding sealer on and let each soak in and harden, this harden the particle board and return the density
There are different ways to restore things, find what ever works and run with it. Hey thanks for watchin'.
Hmmm very interesting.
Yep, but it works.
A lot of Remington 31 there
Yep, and it works very well. Hey thanks for watchin'.
very informative video! thank you
Hey, thanks for watchin'.
Hello, how do you make the trigger softer? It's very heavy, thank you Pat.
Double action pull weight is just under eight pounds, I will almost all the time shoot mine in DA. A gunsmith can do a trigger job I'm sure, if you want to spend a little $$. Hey thanks for watchin'.
Air leak in the intake manifold. Sounds exactly like mine I tightened up the three bolts that hold the expansion plastic piece to the head itself and then I tightened up the two bolts that hold the physical manifold to the expansion piece and it stopped doing it all together and runs better than it ever is
Sounds good, thanks for watchin'.
Nice job on the veneering but did you upgrade the speaker to make them sound better? See the upgrade video by Danny Richie of GR-Research. You can bu the upgrade kit and install it yourself. I would also glue in some extra bracing between adjacent walls of the cabinet using 3/4” dowel rods with ends cut to 45 degrees or 3/4” square strips of MDF or wood offcuts. This will stiffen the box so it doesnt resonate and will give clearer bass and vocals
These speakers were my Son's, and he lives in another state, what you saw were the way I got the speakers. He did all of the electronics ( he is a computer wiz). The speakers were glued and could not be taken apart, that is why I did them like I did. As good as they could get. Then they were sold. Hey thanks for watchin'.
@ ok but tell him about the upgrade video as it’s worth watching. Astonishing improvement
@@stephenyoud6125 Not a problem, thanks again.
Thank you sir you explained it so well
Hey, thank you for watchin'. Got more videos like this, check em out.
I thought these were more complicated to install, like some kind of pliers would be needed. Very helpful video, thank you! Off to Harbor Freight now. And for what it's worth from up here in New York... nice accent! I like different accents. Thanks again for a clear video.
Hey thank you for watchin'.
issent the bayonet supposed to be sharp side down
Nope, not on this type of Bayonet.
@jeffpattersonmadcityvideos3413 ok
I have a CZ 612 Field Shotgun. It's not the same as the 1 in your clip. Do you know how to increase the capacity of this gun?
Don't know on the CZ, never had one.
thats a newly produced Romanian AK, and thats also a Romanian AK bayonet. You know what would complete your collection? A Romanian IOR 7x40 Binoculars from the same era ;)
That would be nice, I have more videos like this check em out. Hey thanks for watchin'.
Harbor Freight sells a nice little water pump powered by 2 D-cell batteries that will get almost all of that water out! I have several. I use one to pump diesel fuel into my tractor from 5 gallon containers because I am old! ;)
Sounds good, hey thanks for watchin'.
Nicely Done Jeff, Very Nicely Done! The difference between us older guys and younger guys making videos is we don't need some self promoting 2 min channel intro, 100 db overbearing music throughout the video, endless pointless ranting and extraneous unrelated dialog. Just simple non egotistical straight forward to the point speaking. Imagine that...a perfect how to video the way they all should be. Nicely Done Jeff, Very Nicely Done!
I just show what matters in a video, hey thanks for watchin'.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP
No problem, thanks for watchin'.
What guage are the wires?
I think they were 14 ga. the power wires are heavier.
The spool is not a drive, the drive is the grooved roller that the spring puts tension on, the drive roller has wire size groves. All the roller dose is create drag.
Yep.
Thank you sir. I was looking how to do just his. 606 area here
Nice effort, but did you ever restore the back panel and front of these? Was there a reason for the plexiglass on front when you could have just taped the fronts with no damage to the cabinets? What about drivers? So far it's a partial restoration of water damaged cabinets.
All the speakers were FULLY RESTORED!!! My Son did all the electronics on the speakers, the back panel on the bad speaker was sanded as good as possible( the speakers were glued together and could not be dissembled). As for the plexiglass it was used so not to remove any 50 year paint on the front as the tape will do. Nice Try.
That is an excellent instructional video my friend! Thank you so much!
Hey thanks, and thanks for watchin'.
Good restoration, those speakers are beautiful
Thanks, and thanks for watchin'.
Felicitaciones! Excelente trabajo
Thanks for watchin.
I have an old Mossberg like that, but the rare 500B 16 gauge. I have shot ported shotguns before, they do reduce felt recoil but also in this case, muzzle flip. My buddy has a Mossberg 190 16 gauge bolt action shotgun, it's got a ported barrel. The muzzle flip was never insane in 16 gauge (outside Magnum loads), so it really feels comfy shooting that gun all day long. But only the sides are ported, three large slots on each side. I'd say a 10-20% reduction in felt recoil, roughly 35% or more reduction in muzzle flip. All depends on the porting done. Depending if you are a lefty or righty, you may want slightly more of those small ports to one side or due to a shotgun being semi auto, to balance the recoil to the center not off to the right. In cases of semi-auto guns, they flip up and over to the right, because the mechanism, and the ejection port are too the right, giving a slight imbalance in recoil direction. I have done a lot of research on porting and muzzle braking firearms. If I could, I would make my own from scratch.
We all would I think, hey thanks for watchin'.
