A tuner would be highly recommended, your motor runs lean when you take away that back pressure allowing more air flow. You don't have to go all out with a power vision and custom ecu tune/flash but Big gun makes a basic tuner specific to that exhaust just for that bike and exhaust. Lean conditions are bad for a motor and it'll get a small HP and mileage gain.
