I very much enjoy this video format. I like hearing all the ideas and thought processes that go into a build. For me it's as much educational/inspirational as it is entertaining, as I'm getting ready for me first painted build.
@@pretzel1313 you said just what I would have written. 😊 I would specifically have echoed your "inspiration/education" statement. I just started my MG Jesta RGM-96X (2013) last night. This is my first modern GunPla. I am 58 yrs old. I have several old(er) kits that my brother has been planning to build since they were released (1989/1990) and I decided to build a modern kit first since nodern kits are significantly better designed and cast-meaning less builder skill required to have the parts work together and look good. Additionally, no cement is required, allowing for a test build, disassembly, detailing/moding, painting, and finishing. BEST WISHES
I enjoyed the video. Very informative, with just the right amount of humor. Not too long at all. Absolutely following and look forward to your future videos.
I used to be bad at handpainting, then last year i got heavy into WH40k. 4 Armies later, my handpainting isnt bad. Won a few competitions for best painted armys and models at a few tourneys. Practice, repetitions, and more.
Been using the GW acrylic for my gunpla aswell recently. They are not bad paints by anymeans, just very fragile. Highly pigmented tho. The metallic paints such as leadbelcher, retribution gold, ironhands silver? (not 100% sure on that one) are perfect for metalic detail painting. Add a wash of nuln oil and, remove some of the excess, and good to go. @@GunplaNewbie
I think the finished work looks really cool and that you did a good job. I think I personally wouldn't have added the light gray accents, but that's just me. Fine work!
Good stuff, finally someone pointed me towards the actual model of the scope. As mentioned in the video, I'm aware that the scope is backwards. I just installed it this way for aesthetic preference :D
Wonderful. I am working on the same kit and the same rifle. you help me a lot. I want to know how you done seamless about the red dot sight, especially how to deal with that transparent part.
Thanks, glad it helped. For the sight/scope, I sealed the seam with the transparent part attached. I didn't show this process (as the video was a bit too long), but I painted the entire thing without masking the transparent part. I've already decided to use a green foil sticker as the "camera". As mentioned in the video about mobile suits leaning in on weapons to "aim", I used a green foil and make it seemed more like a camera instead. Hope this answers your question.

Yeah, thats the beauty of custom gunpla, literally gunpla is freedom. I'm very much still learning colour combinations and colour schemes.
From reddit you video quality so great you should get more sub
Liking this format.. keep it up man
Thanks! Will do!
Well, this give me motivation to try it out on all of this weapon i get from 30mm xD
Great content. BTW the scope is placed backward. The packaging is correct, it was modeled after the eotech 512 scope.

Love it keep coming with this kind of video 😎👍🏼
Thanks. Glad you don't hate my voice lol.
Ayyyy you're back! I love this commentary video bro. I guess you should settle on this format. Nice rifle too!
Ah thanks man. Seems like most preferred this format. I think it gives a lot of context to what I do too..
@@GunplaNewbie Indeed. Your explanations are good too. Godspeed brother.
