    Omg I’m so glad you exist! I could not find anything on the 75 inch u8k. Half the internet says it’s a bad IPs panel with blooming the other half says it’s OLED like. Could you please check 2 things: 1. I’ll be watching it in total darkness with subtitles on. Do subtitles light up like Xmas tree in terms of blooming?
    2. How is Dolby vision performance? Is it too dark or maybe blacks are lifted and it’s not dark enough. The main gripe with qm8 is that its DV is very bad. Too dark, flat, colorless, ppl doable DV if they use external box like Apple TV and only use HDR10. Hoes Hisense have a problem like that?

    Great Video covering what we all needed to know about the not otherwise reviewed 75 inch U8k. I’m getting the 75 inch U8k next week. What settings do you recommend I turn on or off and what picture modes are best? Your cheat sheet will help me dial it in, very much appreciated and so exited to set it up!

      The picture is unbelievable in contrast and clarity and the blacks are OLED like . ADS Panels rock Hisense chose well , the side view is vg in brightness and color with minimal loss .
      Some streaming apps may be finicky like VUDU , you have to adjust the Google picture settings as well as the Hisense picture settings ... yes there are 2 ... to maximize HDR . Disney app just use the Hisense picture settings and HDR DV is excellent and less finicky . A little more work but worth it .
      Lots of adjustments but after 2-3 weeks I could navigate pretty well . Highly recommended if you can still find the 75" with ADS Pro Panel , and simply a bargoon of a picture if you already own one .

    How is motion with this TV? I'm getting the exact same one delivered today and I'm just worried about possible stutter/judder which I can be pretty sensitive to.
    I watch a lot of movies, tv shows, and animation on DVD/Blu-ray/4k Blu-ray where the content is generally shown at lower frame rates and I know that TVs with high refresh rates can struggle to keep the motion smooth unless you turn on motion smoothing. Which usually introduces the soap opera effect that I despise with all my being.
    Would really appreciate it if you could put my worries to rest. Thank you!

      To my eye it's not an issue at all. I use custom 4 for judder which is pretty low. I leave blur at default.

    Thanks for posting this. Very few reviewers have actually talked about the 75 inch's ADS panel. I am considering the 75 inch U7K which also has an ADS Pro Panel. Do you think it will perform similarly?

    • @24hourgmtchannel64
      @24hourgmtchannel64  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Without having a U7K 75" to directly compare my guess is the picture will be very similar without the added brightness (1000 vs. 1500 nits). If you can buy from a store that allows free returns, it's just a matter of evaluating before the return window ends to make sure it meets you requirements.

    • @birdtj82
      @birdtj82 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, last year My good buddy bought U7H (he tried to buy U8H, but U8H sold out in 65” so fast during Black Friday). He LOVES his U7H. It has pretty much NO blooming. But just less BRIGHT(still like 1100nits)
      This year they will DEF make U7k def close enough that great blooming control , but just bright. Very great tV. And U7K will be like MINI LED.
      If u see those online TH-camr influencers, almost 100% of them. I mean almost(not this one). Having the tv sits :
      -over all panel “brightness” light up at 100% level
      - Black level sits at 50% untweaked.
      Like WTF.
      N at that level then film them in the dark the tv looks like mushy poo. Especially in FILM Maker setting, or THeatre NIGHT setting(give a green tint).
      U should give u7k a try. D Bestbuy has bunch good reviews. U should check d BESTBUY USA site. It has most reviews.

  • @guily6669
    @guily6669 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    I really wanted to see it against the VA version side-by-side 🙁
    In my opinion ADS Pro should be a game changer is for monitors that need really fast pixel response time for gaming which VA is way less problematic as a gaming TV with a console + controller than on a high refresh rate gaming PC monitor with mouse and keyboard unless you use a VA TV as a monitor for the PC...
    Just like I'm actually fine playing a perfectly paced 30 FPS game well done with a controller that sometimes even feel like 60 FPS when well done with good motion blur and so on, but I can't play any shooter on PC if it's not around 60 FPS or my aim all goes to hell or even just high input lag like most non exclusive fullscreen DX12 games which are beyond annoying on my PC.

      @@Yoga_Tv_buying I just got my Hisense 55U8KQ which is a VA TV and the motion is terrible, on my PS4 Pro like Red Dead Redemption 2 is a huge stuttery and blurred mess that gives me a big headache and my eyes burning.
      There are good VA panels but most of them are terrible for fast motion stuff.
      It's not like IPS was amazingly much better however on PC monitors most stick with IPS so they kept improving it that it even got faster than TN at some moment in time while there wasn't much progress with VA but Samsung on some of their high end odyssey VA monitors really did good for a VA, just wished more brands also had the interest to improve VA further too instead of just IPS and TN...
      Anyway ADS Pro really is the future for IPS which is the good viewing angles with good colours but with much better contrast than traditional IPS and more similar to VA panels with wide viewing angle layer which also reduces its contrast by a lot I think it can achieve up to 2000:1 and also should be more clear letting light pass trough more easily which means better efficiency or brighter displays at same power consumption...

      Hey i completely believe your genuine feed back. Question 1 what size tv did u have? 2 did u turn “brightness “ “black level “ down first? Or have it like “Max 100% Brighness “ ? 3. Did u watch in dark room or dim room? 4 how close/far are u sitting close to TV?
      Believe it or NOT I took some science programs in university , at end of semester talking about Vision (which is important human organ), our scientist /professor Ease the Topic into “ HOW TO WATCH TV “ or “how NOT to “…… n apparently there is Echo CHamber lately about TV watching. I can maybe help u.

      Okay one thing is okay LET me ask u a question. Okay its not trick question, its just question professor ask us:” do u see MORE when u facing a BRIGHT CAR light in mid of night? Or how about during the day….u Dont even see anything if car has lights on? “
      “When u drive on highway….do u see things only directly in front of u? How much stuff do u see quickly passing thru at side of road at 2am when u driving home? Why can u NOT see pedestrian or DEER/MOOSE in time?? “
      “At sun set at end of sunset,,,do u see the things in the shadow passing by , do u see them or u have to REALLY look to SEE them (d stuff at side of road)” ??
      “Do u go to IMAX Theater??” “Why are MOVIEs SO DARK in IMAX? “ “ WHY ppl tend to sit at FAR back at IMAX Theater n they hate sit at side or front row?” “Do u really think the BIGGER is BETTER?”
      Okay those are not trick questions okay, not trying it like “smart ass “ myself. Just like those are something super smart making us thinking in class. Before she explained everything. So i am trying to help. 😊 😅😢I suggest it’s highly likely that U might need to change how u watch it. Cuz like the vision blury might be very easy fix. Cuz I TESTED with my U8 65” to see distance/angle etc. at very 8.5’ feet away,,,trying to watch NBA (to exam), UTTER EYE strain. Hurt so bad. (K I have my 65” u8 for 1.5 yr never eye strain) I need to back out to 9.5 feet to avoid it. Apparently when we drive,,,,,our eye focal point only look at what is in front of us. We cant see things at side --Peripheral Vision , so when we watch normal documentary etc. the things dont move constantly. So that our eyes have enough time to travel cross the tv screen to --RE FOCUS. 😮our eyes only see mid like 30-40% of stuff on tv screen. Our peripheral vision capture most of rest of TV . Then if we WATCH something HIGH SPEED like action movie, our eye balls are going springting. So IF U are Playing VIDEO GAME….U NEED to sit BACK. To fit almost entire 55” on that 30% of focal point . (Video games are more taxing cuz u have to to looking at the ENTIRE frame to constantly notice everything ). And make sure tv bright color turned down, n MAKE sure do NOT play in Pitch black room. It’s like Staring at Giant light bulb. Having room with DIM warm lighting(but the light bulb out of sight) is optimal 😅….so u see something in Sunset view vs pitch black .
      Kk i might miss something…everything there was said by -PhD professor. I thought its wild. Years later i can’t believe how much it helped me. So dude i paid lot of money going to school, hope this helps. U know those OLED gammers will tell u “ play in the dark” cuz OLED so dim already.
      For LED…Make sure it’s turned down correctly . Your room might be too dark, yr tv pro not turned down, then u most likely sit too close. Eye ball marathon. It so since your eyes can run fast enough, it lose its way to Focus in time…so cause vision blur n strain. I prob should make a video about this, can help a lot of ppl lol.. sounds wild . It’s still odd when PROF try to teach us “how to watch tv”. She’s like “hey u will NEVER hear this for d rest of your life, but this will help u guys one day”. lol. 😅 n did

      @@Yoga_Tv_buying Hisense really have a problem with motion it's likely their processing algorithm that completely sucks.
      I do know big sizes with small distances make the motion more noticeable but I don't think that's the case. It's a 55 inch TV and I'm at around 2 meters away.
      It also doesn't matter if it's full bright or lowest backlight option the TV motion is a huge stuttery mess sadly.
