How is motion with this TV? I'm getting the exact same one delivered today and I'm just worried about possible stutter/judder which I can be pretty sensitive to. I watch a lot of movies, tv shows, and animation on DVD/Blu-ray/4k Blu-ray where the content is generally shown at lower frame rates and I know that TVs with high refresh rates can struggle to keep the motion smooth unless you turn on motion smoothing. Which usually introduces the soap opera effect that I despise with all my being. Would really appreciate it if you could put my worries to rest. Thank you!
@RonaldoGod So far, so good. Many times it's just one of the two circuit boards in back, which are not to expensive and easy to change if you want to keep it, but the U8N will have a brighter picture than your current tv.
Keep in mind when they talking blacks blacks blacks ... you really take advantange of that in dark enviroments if you watch tv on daylight or lights on oled and va dont push much further than others
Thanks for posting this. Very few reviewers have actually talked about the 75 inch's ADS panel. I am considering the 75 inch U7K which also has an ADS Pro Panel. Do you think it will perform similarly?
Without having a U7K 75" to directly compare my guess is the picture will be very similar without the added brightness (1000 vs. 1500 nits). If you can buy from a store that allows free returns, it's just a matter of evaluating before the return window ends to make sure it meets you requirements.
Yeah, last year My good buddy bought U7H (he tried to buy U8H, but U8H sold out in 65” so fast during Black Friday). He LOVES his U7H. It has pretty much NO blooming. But just less BRIGHT(still like 1100nits) This year they will DEF make U7k def close enough that great blooming control , but just bright. Very great tV. And U7K will be like MINI LED. If u see those online TH-camr influencers, almost 100% of them. I mean almost(not this one). Having the tv sits : -over all panel “brightness” light up at 100% level - Black level sits at 50% untweaked. Like WTF. N at that level then film them in the dark the tv looks like mushy poo. Especially in FILM Maker setting, or THeatre NIGHT setting(give a green tint). U should give u7k a try. D Bestbuy has bunch good reviews. U should check d BESTBUY USA site. It has most reviews.
So I went ahead and purchased 75U7K, pretty happy with brightness and contrast. But I see no benefit with viewing angles, when viewing from side there is noticeable blooming around bright areas.
@anudeepb5400 Congratulations. I think with all current TVs there will be a compromise. None are 100% flawless. Even with the 2023 star player TCL QM8 I'm seeing complaints and issues from owners that the youtube reviewers missed.
I really wanted to see it against the VA version side-by-side 🙁 In my opinion ADS Pro should be a game changer is for monitors that need really fast pixel response time for gaming which VA is way less problematic as a gaming TV with a console + controller than on a high refresh rate gaming PC monitor with mouse and keyboard unless you use a VA TV as a monitor for the PC... Just like I'm actually fine playing a perfectly paced 30 FPS game well done with a controller that sometimes even feel like 60 FPS when well done with good motion blur and so on, but I can't play any shooter on PC if it's not around 60 FPS or my aim all goes to hell or even just high input lag like most non exclusive fullscreen DX12 games which are beyond annoying on my PC.
I don’t play video game . But does that make huge difference when using VA panel ? Why does r shooting goes to hell ? Like once u aim they r on d move already ?
@@Yoga_Tv_buying I just got my Hisense 55U8KQ which is a VA TV and the motion is terrible, on my PS4 Pro like Red Dead Redemption 2 is a huge stuttery and blurred mess that gives me a big headache and my eyes burning. It’s prob a hair less contrasted compare to VA u8K but like dude…since it’s INCKY black n high Crisp. THAT make the Visual look VERY high Contrast. It’s 3D. It looks like a portal in Star Trek transition to to diff planet.
If u go to Bestbuy looking at VA x93L…imagine the U8K -75”look 20% Sharper cleaner, thats the Visual I saw in store
What motion setting do you use mainly... that smooths but no SOE? also thx for being one of a few only doing a 75" u8k review
Thanks. I use custom with 4 for judder reduction and 7 for blur.
Which hdmi port should we be using? Are 3 and 1 that much different? Using 3 currently and only picture option is Dolby.
I'm not a gamer however, the one port should provide a slight benefit for gaming. The others are fine for everything else.
Quick question, when you boot up your U8K, does the screen with the Hisense logo look like trash? Meaning with light bleed everywhere. Just got my 75U8K and when i first turned it on, the gray Hisense logo screen looked horrible but the content looks pretty good. Im just wondering if i should exchange it
Just checked. My U8K logo looks fine after reboot.
@@24hourgmtchannel64 Mine has really bad light bleed on that launch screen. I rebooted it and it still the same. All the content looks great but the only issue with mine is that launch screen. Wondering if I should have Best Buy exchange it
@@dannyv.7518 Probably Local Dimming is OFF on the Boot Screen like on Samsung TVs. You could try to move the clouding more over the panel or cleaning into the edges with handcluss without pattern... but again, it is probably because LD is off on the boot screen.
I wish they'd use ADS Pro panel for their other U8K sizes. The poor off-angle viewing of their 65 inch U8K stopped me from buying. I don't know why so many companies still use VA panels for their high-end TVs.
Dude cuz I bought metal tall TV 📺 stands that has wheels 🛞.
Get d high Tall white metal flat solid Beam Elegant TV stand . I tilt my TV 📺 all d time since I have long living room. I END up sitting 🪑 at Kitchen table ditching my couch 🛋️ most days now lol 😅
@@birdtj82 Dude, some of us have friends and family. You need a wide viewing angle when there's multiple people watching.
@@birdtj82 If you don't have to accommodate friends or family, I can understand why wide viewing angle is not important to you and your tilting TV solution would work. 😃😃
@@tomtube1012 excuse ur language how old are u ? Good try ! “If u have no friends or family I understand. “ lol good try . Hope u live long n prosper!
Read my early comment all I did was trying to help. So If that single nice comment Can result such insult . I am hoping u up or mental Adequacy game . Cuz ppl live thru insulting other ppl often does not feel happy n they feel like victim . It’s called “Projection “ . Wise up n RICE up .
If u happen to Get Friends , see how long that last with this type of Attitude .
@@birdtj82 So I'm saying your solution will only work for you but not me. I have friends and family so I can't just tilt the TV. I need a wide viewing angle. That's all. No need to get upset. 😃
What about off angle contrast.
@gokhan7482 that's the beauty of the ips-ads pro panel on the 75". No off angle degradation.
Thanks hisense supervisors for luying to me about the 85 inch tv u8k telling me it is ips panel. It is a va panel and it has awful viewing angles. I wamted ips as i was impressed with it before
Yes this is what I read as well. I'm not against VA panels, it's just good to be informed of the advantages and disadvantages of each technology. Side viewing and color reproduction as well as a tad sharper image seems to be an advantage of the new IPS-ADS Pro variant.
@@24hourgmtchannel64 kind of sad supervisors in hisense don't even know their own panel tvs
@@wingedhussar1453 Agreed 👍
@@24hourgmtchannel64So only the 75" has the ADS panel?
@rcfreak9 as far as I can tell, yes. Funny, It would almost seem Hisense is doing a trial test of some sort almost.
Please make more videos with real HDR content. Widescreen movies with black bars. Some say the bars is not really black but more grey when watching in pitch black room.
Anything specific?
I have not seen any gray or lighter black bars. I find it interesting on what so called professional online TH-camr's seem to see and I cant.
@@24hourgmtchannel64 1917 for example in HDR in a dark room
@@24hourgmtchannel64 So you do not see any problems with black bars in widescreen movies at all? Are they inky black?
@user-oq4rm5ci9p yes but let me recheck a few shows and the one you mention and I'll do a video for you. Send me two or three shows from Netflix or Hulu depending on which you have.
