Really liked Guillaume's logic in this one, not picking a cheap amp that'll just get replaced. Though it's likely to still happen with his pick. Applying that logic (and having a look at what's there) I think I'd go with the Roland JC-22, because what are you ever going to replace a stereo amp with built in chorus with? It's the most unique full amp available in the price range imo.
Well done team. I have been spending a lot of time recently with a Hotone Siva Boogie (cheap as chips < 100 of your local currency) and am really impressed. It has a clean tone to die for and takes pedals really well. It has a 5W output (more than loud enough for home) that drives cabs nicely and a line out if you need to plug into something bigger.
Having a Marshall DSL1CR for less than 300€ I feel just fine: nice warm tube sound, tonewise very versatile, simple knobs and cool look which contributes indeed much to guitar playing whatever many folks say. For home use with IRs I do not need any more, however for gigs it might be a bit thin…
Great content, really like Guillaumes approach! I am wondering how the Hughes & Kettner AmpMan Classic would perfom in comparison to the Blackstar Dept. 10 Amped 1.
i would be interested in a comparison of modelers like the simplifier mkII & strymon iridium, in combination with frfr speakers like fender fr12 & headrush...
@@ThomannsGuitarsBasses please help me convince my mrs i need two more amps (with no band or prospects for gigs or really any reason other than i want em) // Poo
Thanks! G's strat is actually a heavily (and not very elegantly 😆) modded, inexpensive Made in Mexico Fender. My tele is pretty expensive but cheaper t-styles will also sound close enough. We had a blindfold challenge, where I wasn't able to decide which one I'm hearing, my tele or the Harley TE-62 in our studio. 😅 //Kris
Heeeeeeey, not reaaaaaally! 😆 The HB V30 cab sounds just as good and that fits the budget perfectly. If only I had a longer speaker cable, haha! Also, G cheated in the sub 500 guitar crush video. He took a b-stock just to make it under the price limit. 😅 //Kris

Now we need a version for bass.
I agree my friend ! 😁😉

The worst downside of a 1watt head is that it has no clean headroom
Awesome video!!. Always great to watch your challenges and crazy great playing skills. I have to go with Gillaume amp here.
Thanks a lot! Yeah G really nailed this one. //Kris
Awesome video. Just curious, how about a sub 500€/$ guitar pick from 2024 models? Maybe rock/metal and semi-hollow? Thanks for your videos

Do similar with InEar gear/full wireless rig? Something starting from cable mixer for your drummer and up to a cheap/mid tear wireless.
Yeap you have made real good choice with those one :) that will help New guitar lover better than little combo , beau travail
Glad you liked our choices! Cheers //Kris
Archtop jazz guitars and amps - both under 500, and over 5k. Just kinda curious because I feel like jazz gets left out alot
I really would be interested about some mid range gear, so for example around 1000 to 1300 bucks 😊
Nice choices but i prefer my Katana mk2 112 100. I guess my second choice would be to add another katana or 2 . WDW fo life!!!!
Yeah buddy, that makes so much sense. 🙌 //Kris

@@PooNinja.You could tell her that the devices are very loud radiators 😅
The irony of showing off sub $500 amps, but with rigs costing into the thousands (I'm guessing G's guitar is 5k alone)! Love the playing as always!

How about electric nylon string guitars? And by all means go wild and try some pedals too?
that double hum strat...
Right? Such a sweet guitar. You just gotta love modded MIM strats. //Kris
I was too like that big.orange is less than 500????!!!!!!
And G-Man is asking :" Why , Why? Chris is cheating with a Cab ; So Why, Why? Does he treat me that way??
😅 Lololoool 🥳👍
Lol. Chris cheated.
