Hello TH-camr, today I’m glad to share my new second homemade lathes.
I do happy to make a bigger size because my first lathe the size is a bit small, when milling a big plate of thick metal is not easy because the length is not enough space to milling than the plate metal I used is thin most are 10 mm thick.
So I decided to make a new lathe bigger than the previous lathe. Now there is enough experience to make a new lathe also.

Saludos desde barranquilla colombia soy venezolano migrante en colombia y tengo un torno alemán matra pero tiene desgaste en la bancada y quiero hacer lo mismo rectificar la bancada cuanto grado de inclinación debe tener

I have a bit problem with this because I used a thin metal rail for sliding so it rigid. My opinion please you can make the same but have to use thick metal rail.

@@mr.ranyhomemade2466 i am currently doing something similar and will try an angle grinder with an abrasive plate to grind and polish my lathe ways as flat as possible. Good luck to you!

Thanks for you're shared I do make this slide more than a week to be a straight line. Now it is almost finished then I need to use my homemade lathe carriage to top on the slider.
