The worst play of the season isn't even here, where Jarren Duran of the Red Sox completely misreads a fly ball and then doesn't even try to go after it resulting in an inside the park grand slam.
There's a few Red Sox plays from that game that could be on here. They had a routine pop up by the mound that was dropped and resulted in 2 runs in that one also.
I watched a play the other day where a white sox player dropped the ball and the guardians commentator straight up said “are you shitting me” and they just went forward as if nothing happened

I was at that game, that was the worst play I have ever seen
Not a blunder when you just stop trying because your team sucks and you're losing by 10 runs by the fourth inning.
The fact that he didn't even make an effort on that play was ridiculous.
I've never seen Freddie drop a simple pop up like that twice in the same season. He was real nervous for a lot of his first season in LA.
