A wee bit of information about removing the clutch and gearbox from this ZX10R and how the gearbox works and what we are looking for when we inspect these.
does the removal of the transmission require you to do anything on the other side of the bike? like removing the front sprocket bolt? thanks for your time.
@@parkittdynoandsuspension I am currently doing the top end on my 13 zx10r, head gasket to valve cover. Had a Valve get damaged so pulled the head to inspect the pistons and make sure there was no dmg to them. thankfully they are all fine. So replacing the damaged valve set (intakes in cyl#1) and going to put it all back together. Was nice to watch a Trans replacement tho.

You do indeed. Front sprocket needs to come off as does the gear shift road and shift arm.

Is it hard to change a shifter fork? I have a 07 zx6r that needs a shifter fork and its this style of transmission. Thanks!
nope - not to bad. just a bit of time and patience.
How long to take out the transmission and strip it?
under an hour.......
So why cant i se the removal of cassette as the headline states??
It’s not an instruction video…. The cassette is removed and refitted during the video…… we didn’t want to bore people with endless time-lapse.
