Actually the IS-2 1944 is in the game for everyone since it is included in the 84th Guards-25th PzGren free reinforcement pack. Great video nonetheless!
i beg to differ, i think that anything over 14mm can be considered a cannon. just like the early versions of the mg151 which were 15mm before being upgraded to 20 and were considered cannons.
That seems to be the consensus, however there are a few outliers that go counter to that theory. I agree, for the most part, and that's how I figure the math goes, but the HP for tanks is ambiguous and I don't want to put out information that I am only sort of sure about, and have it be wrong later. For anyone that's looking at this comment thread, while I have no way to confirm this, I agree, for the most part, with Ted Archer, but Eugen: give us the actual stats!!!!!!

Sure, I can intuit which of my tanks have how much HP remaining based on what hit them and how much damage the attacker's gun does, but from a newer player's perspective it's simply "Sometimes the tiger kills my tanks, sometimes it doesn't." or vice versa. With that in mind, I am liable to continue grumbling about it for the foreseeable future.

I got problem. I was editing my is2 for higher veteran in 29th tank and when I was editing them is didn’t see improved stats so i don’t know if it’s a bug or if I have is 2 at 2 stars it has same stats as regular version. What should I do??
Hi, So that's actually a known bug. This happens if you're changing the veterancy on a unit that is currently in your deck. Easiest way to fix it is drop the IS2 card from the tank tab, click on a different tank unit, take the T-34/85 for example, then click back on the IS2 and the stats should reflect the difference in veterancy. It's a silly bug that's been in there for a while, but rest assured that the IS2 does get better with each tick of veterancy!
@@kerplunk1774 yeah just tried it and works so got 2 2 star is2 in c face with is2 2 star leader in b and rest t3485 1944 variant which was told there able to take on panthers so I’m going try that. Thank you...
In the video I mentioned the Sherman, and practically everything said about it applies to the upper varients as well. The only difference is slight changes in armor and more penetration, but for the most part these don't alter the way to use them too drastically. All in all though, good question. I was forced to skip a bunch, as the video would have been terribly long otherwise, and so I skimmed over all the western front units. Perhaps I can do another video in the future on the rest

APCR ammo penetrates IS2 frontal amor.
The KV-2 also has 12 damage... so it also guarantees a one shot kill. :)
Honestly, I did not know that. Mostly because I've never seen the KV-2 hit anything😂 nice correction either way
in real life the kv2 could one shot a tiger or panther with HE
