MSRP's in Canada have already been jacked, 2023's starting at $78K CAD for a 1lt and now 2024 a 1lt starts at $90 CAD. Corvettes have always been aspirational and attainable, however the attainability is slowly vanishing it seems......
The color looks like deep blue purple and it is magnificent. The tan leather interior looks so damn good with this exterior paint. Monster Vette. I don't think this car could get any better.

1990 I was 23 years old. I had bought a brand new 1988 Mustang GT in the day. Since then I've owned a 1988 Z51 Corvette, a 1991 ZR-1 Corvette, a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V, a 2013 Audi S5, and now a 2016 Z06 , 3LZ Convertible in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic! I love my Corvette. I would love to have a new Z06 or a ZR1 but for the price, I either have to wait or just enjoy my C7. Thanks for the video Joe!!

First..Great video. Secondly, I've been on waiting list since 2019. First for Z06 now for ZR1. I didn't get the Z06 because the dealer switch the deal once the order banks opened, he wanted 50k over, I said no. Now my dealer I've had my Zr1 preorder with, now states that gm stated that only 2k nationwide would be released next year. Therefore I'm number 38 on the list, it's not likely I would be able to order next year. Now dude, I'm over it. Now when I look at it, Chevy's bs trim level buying system is severely flawed. It's the same damn car for each trim (3lz) just different engine configurations. There's so many options in the 200k plus range I'm out. Lastly, the values of the c8 have been tanking.
Three things to say about this: 1) Dealers greed & markups over MSRP going to ruin it for true enthusiasts. 2) The interior is surprisingly cramped in these C8's esp due to the waterfall controls layout. I cant even fit in one. The presenter is like a european fashion model its a tight squeeze for him he barely fits 3) They can make this even more powerful with the hybrid layout of the E-Ray paired with this motor for a total of 1224 hp and AWD!!!
Incredible machine that the boys at Bowling Green have created. Not a car that I see in my future, I just hope to someday get a ride in one. Like Mark has said here in your comments, the dealer upcharge on these cars is going to be insane and that's a shame. Great video, Joe!

This car will age like a fine wine but I still prefer the c6 zr1 wich is imo still the greatest corvette of all times.
