We will be rewatching these videos when we go back to Arizona. These cool videos are certainly evergreen and so helpful.

Yep -- it takes time and creative route planning to explore these affordable camping finds. We get a steady trickle of views from our onsite campsite reviews. Lou

Nice video ! This looked like a cool camping area to stay at! Quite a few campers back in there too. Now, how far away is the nearest town? I see alot of sunshine when you are doing the tour of these trust land campsite's, is it hot when you are doing them, or just warm(noticed you always wear a jacket). I guess Im just thinking , hot, because of were you are. How cool does it get at night? Wow, those Barrel cactus are very pretty! and they are big too! When you are walking around scoping out these free campgrounds in AZ, have you seen any Road Runners running around? (curious lol) What animals do you see out there regularly . You said that you spoke to a man that was staying there, that told you about the road circling around. ...when you do these walk thru's, are the people usually friendly and say hello when you walk past their site's? and a question, the folks staying in tents, where do they...and dont mean to get gross, but, where do they dispose of their "human waste?". Just wondering.... because I know the big rigs and trailers are not allowed to put out their sewer tubes and let it run out on the ground. Are these places checked on by law enforcement on a regular basis? Like, just wondering, if you are staying there, and some camper comes in, and starts really abusing the land, how do they find out that this is happening? So far tho, all the sites you have found, look very well taken care of by the people that stay there! (with the exception of those few where it looked like they had lived there for months) Very nice video Lou. You always do a thorough job on them! This was such a beautiful area !! Thank you! vicky

Hi Vicky. The weather is pleasant in January and February when we were visiting the Mesa, Arizona area. Cool in the mornings, but warm enough to swim in the afternoon (no pool here though). These camping areas are pretty much self policing. However, local authorities like the sheriff and state police do have authority to enforce laws on Arizona State Trust Lands. As for what to do if violations are witnessed, I usually document significant instances of abuse on video and post them publicly. In the past, those videos have been effective in swaying local support for increased law enforcement in the area. I do not post abuse videos in real time for personal safety reasons. Thanks for riding along with us. Lou

Do you have to have a 4x4 to maneuver a fifth wheel at the Arizona and California BLM and Land Trust sites?

Generally no -- but I like to be prepared so Melody and I do have 4x4 capability on our Dodge Ram 2500. Thanks for watching. Lou
