Dude I would love a studio tour. I am working on setting up my own home studio so seeing how you've approached yours would be a really cool thing to see.
As someone who loves that vibe of music, who has gone down the rabbit hole of pedals and amps... the fact that you managed to achieve it going direct without using anything else is very eye-opening!
Crushing it, as always! I appreciate you tracking things dry, including the vocals. I have a tendency of getting in my own way and feeling like takes aren't good enough before even giving them all of their effects. Hearing your vocal take dry vs mixed helped remind me that I need to be patient and to trust the process.
Thanks, Brotha Matt. Glad you enjoyed it! That's always a struggle. I get discouraged very often when hearing playbacks of my dry takes. I sometimes get stuck re-recording parts haha. I thought it’d be good to share the early recording stages before adding effects so you guys can hear everything as it’s recorded.
Thank you for 16K Subs! What band should I do next?
If you're already digging into Whirr, I'd say the next step would be Nothing!

I was surprised myself with the Ableton overdrive. I wasn’t sure exactly how it was going to come out but turned out decent I think.
What a gorgeous final result!
Thank you!

Too many channels focus on shredding arpeggios for no reason, this one actually helps you write song, good stuff.
Yooo! I appreciate your support, Andrew. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your videos! You're a great musician. I've learned a lot from you.
Thanks for the support! I’m glad you enjoy the videos.
I really expected use of Neural Amp Modeler or something. I was surprised that you could get such a great effect without an amp sim. Nice.
Thank you, Jason. To be honest, I was surprised how the overdrive effect came out too haha
Using my fav DAW and you inspiring me with this track just made me Sub! Nice work man!

I found that using a keeley loomer on the focus setting and feeding a blues driver into really nails the feels like you tone
Interesting!
You should do a song like TV Girl!
Where you gettin those drums from? You just slapped in an instant vibe with that loop.
Hertz Instruments Drum pack. The preset is called “smells like rock spirit”. I left a link in my bio. I believe the pack is called “Grand Rock”
