I love the choice of using a mist of white spray paint over the silver on the door pulls. It gives a frosted blur that softens the harsh bright of the metallic. It "pearlizes" the hardware which is more companionable with the luminosity of milky white on the wood.
Wow, this brought back so many memories. My parents had the same type of dresser for 30 years. They had the entire bedroom set. I will have to show this to them.

I painted my bed and dresser exactly alike. The one thing I will say is, the sealant that I used make the finish turned yellow. How sad I was. I found out that it's better to use water base polyurethane. Oil base turned the color yellow. I repainted the furniture, and use water base. What a joy.
This is beautiful. I'm SOOO glad you didn't do that "distressed farmhouse" look that always just looks like a bad paint job. This turned out great, your pop of subtle color with the drawers is great. Good job

Hello . I am Brazilian . I want to say I was delighted with the whim in the details. I am furniture restorer and I value work like this . The idea and the selected color to the inside of the drawers was sensational ! Congratulations !
turned out so beautiful, if your drawers seem to stick since you've painted them you can run a candle on the drawer edges and the inner rails of the dresser to help them slide better. I use canning wax. it comes in a block and is clear. it really helps your furniture not stick if you live in a humid area like I do. i may have to apply it once every 1 or 2.
