- Here's a remix/orchestration of the Elite Four theme from Pokemon DPPt, requested by Espurr Fng a LONG time ago. I'm really sorry for the wait, but I needed some time to get this done. I added parts of the Victory Road, the Pokemon League (Inside and Outside) to the intro.

I don't know how to explain, but I can hear the influence of each elite four member in different parts of the track. Brilliant.

This is one of the best arrangements I have heard of this theme. The intro was very fitting, with the tremolo strings giving that suspenseful feel. 0:45 was a nice buildup to 0:51 and was that a reference to another theme around 1:21?
There's a lot happening in this theme, but you made it feel really smooth. The accordion felt out of place for me though, probably because I wasn't expecting it after that grand buildup - but it still sounds great!
The staccato's were used really effectively here, great job :)
FL.Remix Thanks a lot! :) After listening to it from a neutral perspective, I can see that the accordion really is out of place :) The reference is actually the bassline from the battle theme of N :D
Is it weird that I actually like the accordion in this? Sure, it ruins the suspense, but it really makes me think of sinnoh!

Most just copy/paste the gym leader theme as the E4 theme, but Sinnoh's has some differences, albeit small ones. In the original games, it's a lower pitch than the gym leader theme, making it sound a bit more intense IMO. I hope they improve upon it in the remakes, try to give it more of a distinct feel. I'd always imagined it sounding better if it's slowed down a bit.

I know this is like five years old now, but I appreciate how this goes hard sometimes, but knows when to be extremely light and nuanced without sounding out of place. A lot of remixers completely miss this delicate touch. Criminally underrated take on this.

contrary to some of these other comments, i actually think the accordion is a vibe for this remix. I think it adds a touch of the original soundtrack from the game. love the whole thing

Because this theme in its original incarnation is basically a remixed Mt. Silver theme, it'd be interesting if Red used this music when fought (although it wouldn't feel as grand)
