When you remember Togekiss isn't Fairy-Flying Type in 4 Generation and Drapion uses Cross Poison on it without being supereffective. :D

Playing 5th gen and forgetting steel resists ghost and dark
The first few times I fought aaron I used flamethrower and brave bird against his drapion and wondered why they weren't super effective
When you have no idea fairy types existed so everything looks normal.
I still think it's weird that Platinum's the only Sinnoh game where the Flint has a full Fire type team, but it also makes sense since there was a huge lack of Fire types in Diamond and Pearl.
Hallelujah for them to do that. Let's just hope the remakes don't have a lack of fire types again.
And Volkner has only 2 Electric types while his other are an Normal & I think maybe an Water type if I remembered correctly.
One of the several reasons why I hated Diamond and Pearl

Nah, Sinnoh already had my least favorite gym theme, so the Elite 4 theme basically being the same makes it the worst in my eyes.
I more prefer gen 5 elite four theme gen 3 and gen 2
And gen 6
Sinnoh is good but the others are just better
E4 themes? Sinnoh doesn't even had one to begin with
QOTD: i love Bertha, she's such a sweet old lady, but when she sends her last mon and says "Dear child, don't assume for an instant that you've won."" it sends shivers down my spine

Albab Imam flint’s team may have been diverse but it was also much worse, drifplim and lopunny were not even threats and steel ox was only mildly evil

@@brensylblake4083 I am currently replaying pokemon pearl and doing a masochistic playthrough by using the "not-so great" mons in the game. My team: Kricketune, Pachirisu, Wormadam, Mothim, Pelipper, Gastrodon East. Makes the game even more fun and challenging.

Lucian was a savage. I knew depending on how well I handled him how hard a time I'd have against Cynthia, unlike Flint who's more about instinct if you can't wash him.

Oh memories. I’d always struggle with Bertha because I didn’t really bring too many water or grass types. And then Lucian would give me trouble because even with a dark type and a bug type, I still had to deal with bronzong and gallade.
I didn't have to against Bertha as I have a Roserade with giga drain and Emploeon with grass knot as her pokemon are much heavy
I have a scizor and magnezone so Lucian wasn't too bad for me. And I have a gastrodon and weavile for Bertha. The only one I struggled with is flint cause half my team is weak to fire 😢
Sinnoh Region Pokémons are the best for me. Especially this line up of Elite Four. Addition evolutions of old pokemon 😍

QOTD: I like all Sinnoh Elite Four due to the anime fleshing out all of them in a major way. My favorite has to be Flint, and he’s been ever since I was a kid. Fire-type user, Infernape user, strong enough to decimate Ash with his eyes closed, strong enough to go toe-to-toe with Cynthia, an actual bro to his buddy Volkner, another one of my fav character in Sinnoh, and they both have this gang flair to them. They’re both shady guys who succeeded at the high levels in the Pokémon world and maintained their friendship from the old days.
They do not switch any team member from their first battle team, but I think it is just because their team members are perfectly selected from that generation.
DAMMMN the encounter music is still good!

Dawn is the best protagonist of Pokemon Platinum.
I feel the male protagonist would be tied if he was in the anime like Dawn was. Both have great designs imo, but Dawn had a likable character in the anime to boost her popularity

The thing about this elite 4 is that they don't change their team in spite of more pokemon being available in the post game. However, the battles are still good.

Your training skills need some work hon you cause too many of your pokemon to faint that makes then harder to like you yea you clearly know type advantage and disadvantages but yet you cause your pokemon to faint I don't get It lol just use a super effective type and be done with It
