Also would I be able to use the same process on a canvas panel board. Thanks for the video.

    Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing. I've watched other sublimation on canvas videos that included adhering laminate on the canvas prior to the printed transfer image. Would the reason you did not use this process be that your image is black vs colorful? Thank you in advance.

    • @naturaldiva0924
      @naturaldiva0924  3 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      The reason behind it is because these are canvases that are intended to be painted on. If you were to add the laminate the paint wouldn’t stick to the canvas. The image isn’t meant to be super dark or super vibrant, they are just an outline for someone to paint. If I were going to make a canvas with a picture or something that is going to be a finished product I would put the laminate on the canvas. I hope that helps ☺️ -India

      R
      A real plain small one. Nothing special about it. It is a little cheapy one from eBay ☺️

    This is awesome. I know Michaels canvases are cotton. Is it going to smudge when they apply the water color paint to it?

      No problems with that at all. I have made them for few clients and painted on them myself as well :)

      No it actually doesn't. I did this exact process last weekend for my church and the water color paint we used from $tree were perfect.

    So you don't need to use thermal laminate to sublimate on that

    How do you know if your printer is a sub printer or not ?

    • @naturaldiva0924
      @naturaldiva0924  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You would have to convert the printer for sublimation or buy a printer specifically for sublimation. Typically people use Epson printers for sublimation. So the short answer is if you haven’t converted it then it is not a sublimation printer. I know it can be very confusing but if you would like I can make a video on sublimation next week sometime ☺️

      Sublimation paper. Regular paper wouldn’t work for me on the cavases.

    Has anyone tried this with the cricut heat press? I hope it’s the same process

      I have with my generic version. It actually works better. You just need to apply some pressure.
