Love this hymn. However there's some part of it I don't understand. Could you help me understand what this verse means: "The guilty pair bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win"
The guilty pair refers to the first couple of human race i e. Adam and his wife Eve. After sinning, they were burdened with guilt, they blamed each other, had to till the earth and were burdened with post-sinning life. God covered their nakedness with the lamb's skin, before driving them away from Eden. The seed of woman will end sins, because He will sacrifice himself to atone and redeem human race. This was done by Lord Jesus Christ. Bible tells and explains it all.
