Loving your videos! We have the exact same bike (and hat), but still in the break-in period myself and posting my updates on TriumphRat. Curious about what you might do for pannier racks and nav. I'll keep watching to see.
Thanks Dustin. Congrats and you’ve made a great decision 😀 I have a ZumoXT and a mount that I originally bought for my GT Pro that I never installed. I’ll be adding the mount soon. Hopefully it fits with the changes made to the windshield adjustment bar. Also decided to go rackless this time around so not pannier racks needed.
@@timetomoto I'm planning on picking up a Zumo and looking at the EvoTech updated mount, but eager to see how your's turns out. I thought about going rackless, but I love my Mosko backcountry panniers, so probably gonna hook on a set of OM bars or the stock Triumphs (Givi). Keep up the great updates.
Looks really good. Nice addition. Inwas looking at the tidy tail too. I like the under tidy part, but would like to keep the original grab rails and top. Is that possible (without tweaking everything)? And I'm your 999th sub. Dude you're so close. My channel has been floating around 970 for an eternity. Anyhow, keep up the good work and showing me the guts and whatnot of the Tiger 900. Cheers!
Thanks. Unfortunately the way the OEM grab rail is mounted you can’t use it with the tail tidy. That was the main drawback for me but the OEM grab rails also made it a little more difficult to mount my Mosko reckless 40 bags without them sticking out too far. Thanks for the sub. So close to 1k but still won’t be monetized until I get my watch hours up. No worries though I’m not doing it for the $.
@@timetomoto Thanks for the reply. I get why you did it and really like your grab rails too. Good video and solution. They look good enough to be on the market. But yeah, my luggage setup seems better with the OEM parts. But man, that tail light placement looks great. Good luck with getting those hours (I get it). And I also get doing this for other reasons. Shiney side up.
GReat vids. I too have the H and B hand guards. The bent on you? Assuming it went down right? Man was it a hard down or did the handguards bend easily? I really want the 2024 Tiger RP 900 but...I got a 2023 dangit..... I did a TON of mods on the bike..currently working on installing my new Sansung Active5 tablet for navigation through Baja etc, and struggling currently for a solution. Anyway, what handguards you using now ?
@@timetomoto Those water crossings, with algae make it crazy slippery, are scary man LOL. I walk them first now to get an idea. They're in Baja and can getcha for sure!. So I'm assuming you liked the barkbusters better over the Hepco and Beckers? The H/Bs keep me from mounting my phone on the left side of the handlebars...so phone is in the middle, and can't really have a handlebar bag there either.
@@kee7678 I do like the barkbusters better. They just feel much more solid. Yea man, I learned to be more cautious on those water crossings for sure. Also not to ride in the middle where the algae accumulates. I try to go where cars and trucks are making tracks near the sides.
@@timetomoto Whoa! Great info on the barkbusters as I've never used them but yeah I think I'd prefer them also. Secondly, I wasn't aware MORE algae is in the middle?!? How did I not know that. AGain, thanks!!! Duly noted!

It was a pretty hard fall on concrete at a water crossing. I currently have barkbusters, had a couple drops and they’ve held up.

Any idea if the tail tidy fits the 1200? The tail plate I bought from alt rider is listed for the 900 fits the 1200
I don’t know about the 1200. Sorry.
I like it. Looks great
Thanks!
Good job , well done.
Thanks very much!
