    Great video, very detailed! Couple missed points:
    (1) Turn signals now work as daylight lights as well
    (2) The rear break is Triumph branded because there's now a linked system where breaking with front, a bit of rear break is also applied automatically. It also applies only up to 10% power. So it's not a full replacement of rear break pedal, but to help with fork dive, and just a bit more efficiency in general when breaking.
    (3) Valve check interval significantly increased. Can't recall exact number, but it's significant change in mileage.

    Nice job detailing all the changes. Something important to me as I have a 2022 GT Low. I was considering a 2024 but now knowing all the changes I'll keep my 2022. After all, 2022 was The Year of the Tiger.

    Good video. I am new to the Tigers and I found when ordering my 24 GTP that none of the previous model's guards or other protections fit. Vendors I contacted were still looking to make guards and or protections for the new model. Even things like risers and panniers are not guaranteed to have the exact same fits.

    Great video,i think the most important upgrade is the service interval and that the air filter can be changed whitout removing the tank

    Didn’t know that there are so many minor changes. Thanks for a very thorough review.
    The only change that I would like to see is the option for “information widgets “ on the TFT, similar to the Pan America display. Perhaps that could be implemented via a software update?

    Really useful video. Thanks. I test rode a Tiger GT Pro on Monday and ordered a new one - have to wait 'til June though. I knew most of the major changes but hadn't been aware of the new display so when I saw the new, much improved version, I was delighted. Birthday and Christmas at the same time. On the ride though I was too busy riding than to play with the display ... so do you know ... the old display had various themes that allowed other information to be viewed alongside the tach, speedo, fuel, mode, gear and Temp. Can you do that with the new display?

    I just want to say thank you for making a super informative video, and I found this super helpful. There are a bunch of Tiger 900s on the market right now, and it’s a great time to find a good deal. I’ve been torn between the Aragon and the RP, considering that the Aragon is basically still the 2023 MY and lacks a couple features of the RP (maybe just heated seats?), but the lower compression ratio of the older engine is somewhat appealing to me from a long term reliability perspective. The creature comforts of the 2024 RP are hard to ignore, though!

    A well presented sizing-up of the 2-‘cicles👍…like yourself, I too own an earlier model(2022GT)that includes mucho-mods, and are VERY pleased with its performance, hence, I don’t intend to make a change anytime soon…I have been blessed to own a slew of motorcycles over the decades(I’m 67)and consider this 2-wheeled beast to be the THE “Swiss Army Knife” of bikes, translated, it bout do it all❗️🤠
    Thanks again for the outstanding comparison🏍️🏍️

    Great comprehensive comparison. One question: did Triumph changed gearing? A taller gearing could be a good fit for this stronger engine; with a more relaxing rpm at highway speeds as a bonus.

    My local dealer has a couple of each year. The 2024 models on their floor have a much stiffer clutch pull than the 2023 models. I have really bad arthritis in my hands and like the decreased level of vibrations on the new bike but prefer the lighter clutch pull of the 2023. I guess we cannot get both in the same year.

      @magnusb6311 Thank you! Some 2025 models are out, but the Tiger 900s are not yet, however the only changes between 2024 and 2025 for the 900s should be paint colors.

    Triumph seems to be lowering its COGS ( cost of goods sold ) with some cross utilization of parts among the various models, and eliminating some redundant parts. For instance, there's no reason for having many types of mirrors.

    Great review, thank you. Do you know if they have changed the gearing at all. I had a Tiger 900 GT Pro but felt that it needed another gear, on large roads, highways/motorways at 70mph it was revving too high and could have done with dropping the revs with different gearing.

    Thank you for making such a detailed comparison. Say, I have heard that the front run signals on th 900's can be turned on as "marker lights" full time (and I guess flash when needed). Do you know anything about that, or perhaps that is a European version thing? Thank you again....

    • @RidgeRoamer

    Have they fixed so it is light in both headligts or is it still one light on low and both in higbeam? some who annoyed me most with the rally pro 2023 model i had who i now have sold because that is one reason and the warranty issues and no way to get in tuch with the customer service so i sold the bike.

    • @RidgeRoamer
      @RidgeRoamer  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Headlight is the same for 2024. One side is high beam and one side is low beam.

    • @HellenicBM
      @HellenicBM 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      l'm equally annoyed by the headlights being asymmetrical as well. l have a Tiger 800 2016 XCA with old school bulbs(both sides low and high beam) with huge reflectors and l put some LED H4s inside and they are absolutely amazing at night.

    • @akuskus
      @akuskus 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I also don't like this asymmetry. That's what puts me off from the Honda CRF300L Rally as well which additionally has the physical headlight design itself asymmetrical.

    • @oldogshudnobetter498
      @oldogshudnobetter498 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @HellenicBM I have the opportunity to purchase the same year and model as your bike, 2016 800 Tiger XCA, with 14,000 miles. At less than half the price of purchasing new, based on your experience with your 800 XCA, would you recommend buying a used 800 XCA. It looks to have been well maintained.
      Also interested in maintenance intervals (valve adjustments, etc) and costs. Your opinion and any other info you may want to share will be appreciated.
