One thing I'd like to see on a cooking show is someone making flavoured tofu, by flavoring the soy milk and then making tofu from it. Hibiscus is for tea or sorrel in my culture. When u said u had bags left over I said out loud “ Give them to meeee!” Lol it’s def a drink we make for holidays coming up

I bet the shawarma one would be good with sliced tofu. Especially if you marinated it and froze it. The texture changes and becomes much meatier. I wanna try that now.

I actually made the banana peel one. It tasted really good, but you need at least three peels to make a substantial sandwich, which isn't realistic. Also, I could still taste the banana a little bit, which was weird. I also made carrot hot dogs. I don't think it's the same recipe in the Goodful video, but it tasted amazing... and I also got made fun of for it.
It could be a different avocado brownie, but Alvin (yep, that Alvin) made the avocado brownie and we (Tasty Brasil) tried too… and it was a no for me. It tasted like fish hahahahah
oh yeah and I have tried the grapefruit peel "chikun" but I've played with it a bit cos its a traditional Cuban thing so I felt the need to try and get it right :)
Man I tried those "baby back ribs" recipe annnd it didn't turn out good for me. They were... they were gross. But I also was at the very beginning of my plant based journey and probably didn't do it right!

If you make hibiscus tea and then soak and rinse the hibiscus, it loses the tart taste.
