I think his tower is more easy to build XD i made 1•1•8 yet. The first layer is possible without any help contraptions but after that it becomes a pain(it’s a full log build so every wall consists of several logs). His tower is providing the contraption already
This was such a genuinely insane and hysterical episode, I feel like we never get to see Josh play actually violent games so it's especially jarring when he's merrily going around brutalizing people and it's not just like cartoon violence.
This is the only channel where you can watch a 30 minute video on a game and still come out the other side with no idea what the game is actually about. And I love it.

In the first game there was both a pulley platform and a log sled for easier transporting of logs, so sticks and rocks but mainly logs. If it exists in this one I'm sure you can create a tower to rival Babylon
I dont know what's more impressive: josh somehow getting all those fires to be lit at once, or josh making an entire episode on SotF without using a single zipline.

I love how Josh has never changed over the years and he's still funny, relevant, and creative. Unlike a lot of channels were the fuze slowly runs out I have never gotten tired of Josh's content.
You might be surprised... paid game testing very often involves not even participating in game mechanics or doing anything even this entertaining. For example, playing a game of basketball and running over every inch of the court and boundary looking for holes you can fall through. Or chopping down every tree in the forest just to make sure they're all choppable.
Don't forget about the Spiffing Brit. He finds even more exploits than Josh. For example, he has a video on this particular game where he beats the entire game with only a stick and lots of exploits related to the stick.

no log transportation exists in sons of the forest just dupe kelvin and have 30 of them drop logs for you or build a log duper at each floor
The log sled hasn't been added into the sequel yet, and it makes single player base building a nightmare, even with Kelvin 'helping' you.

Josh playing any open-world game is the peak of humanity. I can imagine him playing a RPG and running around naked besides a pair of jorts, wielding two dead fishes.
I've been watching IGP do a playthrough of this game, and the difference between those videos and this is night and day...yet both are great. I want to see Josh collab with IGP on this one!
So here is the lore, Anthony was the only thing holding an Eldrich horror from terrorizing this world. And since his sudden departure, josh has slowly been losing his control over this unholy atrocity. And a couple years later the darkness consumed him. Now all is left is a broken soul with none other than Anthony being able to piece it back together. Now that he is gone the demonic force is free to destroy, and torture the inhabitants of this world.
after watching enough videos, i believe Josh gets more psychopathic the more games he plays.

Before the patch you could make him fish for basically forever. I've come back to a straight game-breaking pile of fish on the ground before.
If you tell him to drop logs or sticks off at a place where they can roll (or float) away he will go and get the same sticks again and again, like your own personal sisyphus.😁
First, you land on an island that you didn't plan to go to. Then you build modern structures by violating nature. And then lastly my personal favourite "killing all the indigenous people" and then dump all the evidence in water bodies. This all sounds very familiar (19:05).
