Thank you for your video, it helped because I didn't have a clue as to what a tire bead was until my tire light came on for the 2nd time and I took it into the dealer. Know I'm very knowledgeable about this process.

Will this work if I put bead sealer over a small crack on the rim? Slow slow leak. Or will fix a flat fill the small leak? Rim repair est. $250-$300. Wanna try the cheap way first. Thoughts?

Finally somebody who checked both sides of the wheel. Question, why are you hesitant to use the bead sealer?

Bead sealer is great. But good luck getting the tyre off next change

I like to completely break the bead and clean and use bead sealer( great stuff) and reinflate

Yea, I was unable to break the bead, so I had to improvise.

Ok so here is a good way to fix the exact same problem.... air down to about 15psi. With the wheel and tire on the ground take a large sledgehammer and hit the sidewall of the tire as close to the rim as you can. When you do this a short blast of air from inside the tire will shoot out the dirt that is stuck in the bead

Nice, 👍🏻. I would be worried about accidentally smashing the rim, lol.

I’m looking for a video to help me through getting a tubeless tire to hold air , not one where everything goes perfect. I’ll try that bead sealer I guess.

Hey can we get an update on your wheel spacers. I bought similar spacers 5x4.5 to 5x5.5 to run cj wheels on my lj. Everything was torqued to 100lbs but still makes me nervous. Thanks.

I have run them for a year and a half with 40’s. No issues.

Thanks for the great video! And thank you for your service in law enforcement! What type of bead locks are you running? Are they a diy type? And if so you have a video on doing they? Thanks stay safe out there!

Thanks. They are a diy bead lock. I don’t know what brand, I bought them used from Nate.

Both rear tires are leaking from the bead on my Jeep after airing down a bit to much and going in the sand. Doh! Fact of airing doing and off roading
