Enclave was the remnants of the US government who in fallout 2 and 3 planned to wipe the wasteland clean to resettle with “pure” humans
most evil..
Yeah and brotherhood of Steal is another half of the government who hid in there base and who seek out old war technologies to stop the world from destroying itself again but they want to keep they technologies to keep the power for themselves pretty much they are a cult

So, are we assume from the lore and such is that the shadowy figure in ep. 8 is either the US president and head of Enclave by association or just someone from the Enclave, like a regular aparatchik?

I’m sooooo excited to watch this with you guys. As a hardcore Fallout fan and someone who loves reactions, it’s great to watch someone geek out about the show as much as I did.
Don’t get me wrong, I am living for the Fallout universe becoming mainstream enough for revitalization- but it’s also difficult to watch a lot of reactors who have no idea what’s going on and who don’t get some things because they don’t see the warning signs that players see.
It took my sister and I over two and a half hours to watch the first episode because we kept pausing and losing it over every little detail.
Anyway, great reaction and I can’t wait to ride shotgun with you guys for the rest of the season. ❤

Bruh who's out here saying the first few episodes are slow? We get plot point after actions sequence after reference through out the whole first season. Hope ya'll enjoy the rest, as a long time Fallout fan I loved it.
i think if people that aren't fallout fans are seeing it for the first time, the first 2 episodes can feel like they drag a little

Basically novadays you put just one dialogue and it becomes slow😂
@ZainKaneko how, the episodes moves fast and theres little time to breath. Very few shows have as much happen in their first episode. Lol
@@volourn9764 it's mostly scenes with maximus, maybe a couple with lucy. there'll be like establishing shots for tone or silence to build tension but also have maybe a half second or so that lingers more than it feels it needs to. and while that fraction of time might be insignificant to an individual scene, having multiple spots where it happens across an episode can make the episode as a whole feel slower.
kinda like when someone is explaining something and you want them to get to the point but they'll add an extra detail here and there that doesn't add much value because you've already understood the gist of the explanation.
though it's really only the first couple episodes, mainly with introduction stuff. afterwards it's not a problem

The enclave appears in Fallout 2 and 3 and they are the final big villain in both, they believe that they are the United States government with the right to everything, most of the factions are in different shades of moral gray, the enclave is bad and the followers are good

The weapon is called junk jet and The Enclave or the main antagonist in fallout 2 and fallout 3
from a fallout modder this show is perfect
BoS is sistematicaly taking down The Enclave, but they still have a base here and there, it would seem. Airship was Prydwen (built after 2277 when BoS took over Enclave Adams base), now FO4 has 3 different endings (depending on players choice), but game ending for timeline continuation is the obvious and realistic (regarding strength of factions) one i.e. BoS ending, as we see BoS here, and with Prydwen projecting power to West ( Prydwen here means BoS control of Commonwealth, while this training base is north west Utah on the border with Nevada)..

I watched the Fallout lore video series and they said the Enclave is basically a group of people claiming to be the descendants of the original world leaders

i'm not exactly lore heavy so to say but the enclave is basically a darker version of brotherhood and rivals to the brotherhood they also have very similar equipment power armour, technology etc

This show is amazing, but the brother saying "I'm too chicken" doesn't work. I imagine he was probably one of the only people in the vault to have had the nerve to explore that far into Vault 32 to realize the danger. Maybe he's just a pacifist instead? Anyway, great reaction!! So many reaction videos out there from people who don't know Fallout, but I honestly love watching other fans' (like myself) reactions more! This show really knocks the Fallout universe out of the park, and I look forward to seeing your future reactions to the show!!

I think his sister inspired him to be courageous. She fought back while he hid. She left while he stayed. Maybe he was just tired of hiding. I don't know if that came across on screen, but that's what it seems like they were going for.
After watching the series, and loving it so much that I’m now watching multiple reactions, I bought 4 and can’t wait to get started experiencing the world myself.

Also, also… as someone who’s only vaguely familiar with even the basics of the games, I thought they did an excellent job of world-building such that it satisfies people who are fans, and also introduces everything in an approachable way for people who know little to nothing about the universe.
I was worried about another amazon adaptation, but this is Fallout through and through.

I know it's a joke, but... They rebuilt it or modified the existing one to be longer, have more vents, and double the hooks. If you do a zoom & enhance the name Prydwen will even show up, but in a different font and with the logo on the opposite side, so not just a lazy re-use of old assets. So any ending can practically be "made" to work at least in this case. They headed for the Commonwealth when they learned about the institute, and headed back (or sent a new one) back west when they learned about the Enclave cold fusion tech.

I've never played any games. I knew very little about the lure. Finished and loved the show in 2 days. Immediately, I went to my local store and they suggested Fallout 4. Great choice by them. So much fun.

"It's been debunked several times, but in the fallout universe that's how it works." The very next scene proves that second part wrong lmao. The fallout universe, outside of game logic surrounding medical equipment and food, is pretty consistently scientifically accurate. However, it also has some historically accurate elements and "don't bother running" is absolutely something people said in the 50's about nukes.
I just realized the series may have taken place over a few days so she very well could have gotten pregnant and being away from a vault with medical attention for an abortion she might ignore that she's conceived
4:00 The Thumb: I don't know the science to figure it out, but I suspect the thumb is meant to be compared to the shaft of the mushroom cloud, not the top part of the cloud.
I view Lucy as an "even" build, as almost all brand new players do. Why she fails a lot of dialog checks lmao
