Totally agree. I went to an exhibition at the Baltic in Gateshead last week, the work of Chris Killip just so good to see his work in print form and some quite big, a real joy.
Yes! I saw the same exhibition in London a few months ago. Such a great photographer and the prints were phenomenal. Thanks for watching. More coming soon-ish.
Agreed and welcome back, its been a while, yes books are better, and Ive spent a kings ransom on acquiring them so far. Maybe I’ll include your new book in the collection, although I have long since run out of shelf space and just pile them one atop of each other. Looking forward to a new and longer show & tell. Cheers 🍻
Agreed about size - as is looking on the computer screen at photos one has taken, noticing the kind of watch that person is wearing, the surprising tattoo just showing out of the sleeve of an otherwise middle of the road woman. Question: What's the outline around the car n the backaground? Is it demarcating where the car is? Is that car part of the accident? Or is the marking part of the road and the car happens to be positioned within the marks?
Thanks for showing how an image can have many layers and meanings. And I have to admit that I seldom spend enough time looking carefully at an image. Maybe it's from my time as a newsphotographer/editor, maybe it's internet overflow. Anyway, after your videos I've started to take my time with images.
I'll rewatch this tonight on my 43" !

Fascinating image , there's even a chalk outline framing the front of the car in the BG , perhaps the perpetrator of the collision ? Cheers, Dom.
I have not seen this! Truly wonderful!

I have absolutely no idea whatsoever. Possibly your explanation, that would make sense. Wells spotted though.

The 21st May is a Sunday...
You are, of course correct. It should say the 19th. I am an idiot. Apologies.
Slap heads in street photography ... ha ha.
