I live in Saudi Arabia and you can tell a westerner with the shoes they wear. Most are always wearing sneakers lol. Sandals are very common for men here all year round. So if you want to look like a local wear the sandals.
I love the Egyptian dressing. I dressed like that when I was in Tanzania
Your Sister is beautiful. I love her hair. You two could be twins😊
Great info. Right to the point.
Can you provide a guide for people who would like to move to Egypt?

Greetings Eddie, keep these videos coming, I will share them with my contacts who will be visiting Egypt...
When visiting Egypt they should dress appropriately to respect the Muslim culture, that's how I Advise my contacts.
Wow look at your Sister she is all grown up and beautiful.
Garbs, dresses are called Jalabiya's.
Egypt gets very cold, I found that out the hard way. Its heater cold..I planned around that time.
Excellent well done...
HELLO!!! Have you done a video on an affordable why to visit Egypt??? From the USA standpoint it’s expensive; but if there was an economical way to do it, you have my full attention.
How many people are you wanting to travel with?
@@nleddie 2-10 people
Hi from Ohio, You both mentioned, Mopeds. Is that the preferred mean of travel? Are they expensive? Or are you leasing them for temporary use? How do you secure them when traveling to the city area's and home? Speaking of winters, Ohio temperatures can drop to -10 wind chill , I dress in heavy coats and snow boots. Does it snow in Egypt? And do you have more photos of the locals dress wear city and home areas. In previously viewed videos, I noticed you both limit your wardrobe to what you can carry. Kudos on finding affordable housing. I will stay tuned.
Wow a viewer all the way in ohio you rock. Yep motorcycle and moped. We just park them outside. The neighborhood watches over our stuff. And vice versa
Not a marsupial 😆That sibling love is sumn else🥰Good information ♥️I'm leaning towards the moo moos too🙂
Lol 😅
Can you tell me how to get a real tour guide and how much? Because I will be coming alone.
Another instructive video. Great job!!!

are you still in kenya? She does but is more active on tik tok.
I visited there once, hard pass for me, definitely budget friendly for those who don’t have much saved up and want to just move out the 🇺🇸
Well if you dont have much saved up going all the way to the other side of the world over 20+ hrs not ideal.
@@nleddie most of the decisions Americans make isn’t ideal. Ex. Why would one go over there to downgrade their quality of living….but ppl do
Dude. A woman in booty shorts may get away with it in a tourist area, but try that shit in Cairo, West il Beled, Shubra, Imbaba, GIZA! Then let me know wha happens.
In your opinion, is that person going to get tackled and arrested?
@@nleddieI've been traveling to Egypt since 1988. Things have definitely gotten more conservative over the years. I also have female friends and former students who lived there for over 10 years. I also had a friend who was a resident artist there frequently. She was an older woman and she definitely knew the ground rules. The name of the game is attracting as little attention as possible while having maximum freedom of movement. Remember, the average tourist will e going to the attractions, the souks, churches and mosques. Keep it covered.
From personal experience and observation, they're likely to get spat on at the least and at the worse, being sexually assaulted. Egypt is a lot of things my dude, but Disney Land isn't one of them. The upper class more Westernized areas are one thing, but the more baladi sides of town are a whole other ball game my dude and that goes double for rural areas. The best advise is to keep it covered. You don't need to look like a nun. And at night, that goes double. If you're a woman, it's best not to be alone and even better if you have a male escort.
But here's the other thing to consider, just plain respect and sensitivity to the culture and the people. My dude, open your eyes and be aware of the living conditions of the majority of the population. It really does matter to the local people and goes a long way.
Other thing to consider is the fact that you're a guy. You can get away with a lot more than a woman can. And last thing to consider, LANGUAGE. If you don't speak the language, you don't know what's going on around you. If you get into a hairy situation, you can't talk your way out of it. Here's a video by a woman living in Cairo and she brakes it down.

Questions, what do you plan on doing there long term? Are you looking to buy a home? Are you thinking about staying or moving to another?
Well I mean trump almost got taken out today. He probably did not expect that. I say that to say I think of the future but more than anything focuses on the present. As I have more ablity to affect the current that I do the future
@@nleddie the US is a stage. We can all agree at this point that there’s little to believe about anything put out there. Especially when most of their political stuff is “predicted” in a cartoon. Stay motivated!
my only stress is how am I going to make money WHERE ever I go actually .. and this is why I dislike the money program .,. but since I can't change that I have to deal with it .. with that being said how can we make money CONSISTENTLY without clocking in at a physical location..
Very few old men wear garbs they come from villages
I see these just about daily so would not say it is few.
@@nleddie where do you stay btw I’m Egyptian
A marsupial 🦘 really? 🤦🏾♀️
