This dude was building a house right down the road from me. His daughter went to my high school a few years under me. He used to walk in just to bring her a whole pizza for lunch and ignore everyone.
I used to work at an amc nearby too. 2 incidents occurred. He ordered about $70-75 worth of concessions at my register. When i look up after finishing punching everything in, he was halfway to his theater already. People in line didn't even move up cuz that whole family saw he just walked away on me without paying.
We also have 2 long counters with registers for you to order at. They're separated in the middle. When it's slow, we completely close down one side and leave this standing sign. It's one of those really light metal ones that stands about 4-5 ft high with a rectangle on top for you to switch out a sign. You can put like 'restroom closed' or 'theater cleaning', shit like that.
So there's NOBODY in the lobby since it's the middle of the day, and the shows have started. There's like 3 people at the counter, i can't even fully remember cuz of this man. He saunters over to that sign. And I mean straight up leisurely, hands in pockets. Security lady was watching cuz wtf is he going over to the empty side for? You're literally a celebrity, B-list or not. Everybody's looking at you. The man kicks the stand. Not even a kick, like he swung his foot into it midstep, and he like shaq flops onto the roll and rolls around on his back. I'm still a naive kid at this point so I thought the shit was kinda funny, but the security lady was big mad, went straight up to him and said, "Uh-uh not today." And he just gets up, they say some stuff quietly, and he walks away.

Terrance thinks the whole thing falls apart because "multiply should mean multiply"... but what he doesn't understand is the X in a multiplication equation just means: on one side of the X is the object, and on the other side is the number of instances/occurrences of that object. So 3 x 2... could be 3 occurrences of the number 2 (which would equal six) OR two occurrences of the number 3 (which also equals six). But then so 1 x 1 is just "one occurrence of the number one" (which equals one) and so it all makes sense.

See? This is what I am thinking.
Remember when’s Joaquin Phoenix went on Letterman, stuck the gum under the desk, disheveled with beard, & all of that?
What if that’s what he’s doing?
If NOT…this is SERIOUSLY disturbing, yet very admittedly fascinating look into the human psyche. Like, what does it TAKE to break a man like this? What mental illness is this?
These are the oki two options. It is difficult for me to accept this is real life. But…HERE we ARE anyway. Haha!
Sad, yet disturbingly fascinating. If this this real life & he needs help, then I apologize & feel bad.
But, I can’t end but to wonder, if it’s not some long term performance art faux-documentary, to prove his acting coach, Marvel, his third grade teacher that he’s a great actor.
If he EVER comes out & confesses that’s what all of this was, with documentary-like footage as receipts..?
Either way, whichever it is…It’s an amazing display of whether it is. But, those are two huge extremes. I’ve just never seen anyone snap like this, other than Michael Jackson (and that’s a different story altogether. My wife & I just discussed that last night, actually)

I find it hard to imagine that he even came up with the general idea himself in an intellectual vacuum. In other words, I wouldn't even give him enough credit to call it synchronicity of thought, but rather assume he came across at least abstract talk of such a possibility.

Aren’t we being fooled by everyone around us at an almost constant pace?
And the answer is - obviously bud, Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see? Should go without saying in the Information Age.
but let Terrence Howard do his thing, as far as “actors” go, compared to the real great pretenders of our world this man isn’t hurting anyone, unless them domestic violence allegations are true 😬

@suckston It's a very traditional perspective on the profession. The word "hypocrite" is actually a word we took from the Greek language, and it was their word for actors. Plato had nothing good to say about the profession. People who give themselves over to extreme emotions for the sake of fiction are delusional. When I was younger I wanted to be an actor but it's not at all mentally healthy.

He gave an example of " 1 dollar x 1 dollar = 2 dollars" when one of the students pointed out that he was misusing the units. "1 dollar x 1 dollar isn't 2 dollars, 1 dollar x 1 dollar = 1 dollar^2 - which isn't a thing..." Terrence Howard's response "Huh?"

Patent citations are not companies using their patents (or ideas or work). All they are is saying these things have similar ideas but are different and/or novel enough to be awarded a patent.
Most of them aren’t even cited by the company/person requesting a patent. They’re cited by the patent processor, who’s basically noting that he reviewed the patent cited and the two patents are different .
