    cycles don't need to be stagnant or frustrating; the rubber on a wheel moves cyclically, but also propels the vehicle forward. cycles can power motion, they just need a bit of friction in the right place at the right time

    Your videos are always a blessing!
    Most topics are familiar to me, but your talent in clear formulation eases the mind while expanding it simultaneously.
    Im very happy to see your channel growing :)

      Yeah, that's a goal of mine, but also being able to carefully explain something enough for new viewers but not too much for older ones.

    Me when i have to explain why 12 Pot of Greeds is necessary and fair for my yugioh deck:

    • @Vekinuma
      @Vekinuma  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      I don't know what this means... but so true! Can't help it, because all things are cyclic...

    • @supahstarrallyah8360
      @supahstarrallyah8360 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Pot of Greed is a banned card that allows you to draw 2 more cards from your deck. Meaning that it is theoretically possible to draw another Pot of Greed from these 2 cards which you can then use to draw 2 more cards which potentially contain another Pot of Greed and essentially cycle through your entire deck.

    I really like your way of articulating your words, everything you say feels really meaningful and personal and you transition between different points really well. I do have a lot to say about how routines and repetition affect me personally but I’m mostly drained from writing today (btw I would be interested in seeing some of your writing) :]

      Thank you, and feel free to share whenever if you want to later on. My writing is all on my site, under the writing tab, but I've basically only shared what I've posted here. Thanks again.

    I want to address your implicit frustration with the apparent cyclicity of nature. However, I'm more of a scientist than a journalist so I'm using the tool I’m best with, in analog to profound linguistics. I hope you are familiar with calculus. Not to suggest that you need to do any math, but the fundamentals involved are pretty vital to understanding what I'm saying.
    Calculus pretty much boils down to two operations: integrating, and deriving.
    - Integrating is just defining the net accumulation of an equation over an interval as a new equation.
    - Deriving is just defining the rate of an equation’s accumulation as a new equation.
    Taking this into abstraction spooky territory, you can observe how things like science, education and art augment the natural cycles we experience, as integrated parts of our otherwise primitive lives. However, our primitive survival mechanisms still persist. These mechanisms are actually based on both integration and differentiation: we perceive by identifying nuances among patterns, which may be dynamic in nature. As we understand more about the world through this process, we try to integrate it into our lives, to understand the basis of the patterns we observe.
    When you can predict the patterns or cycles in your life, it’s tempting to assume that life is an infinite recursive loop of loops. However, I think you’re focusing on something you’ve already understood, and that’s the actual issue.
    While predictable cycles provide the structure of our existence, it’s through differentiation that we add depth and nuance, even within seemingly simple recurring patterns. This is the foundation of every intellectual endeavor, past, present, and future.
    A core principle of calculus is that all equations possess an infinite number of derivatives, but a strictly finite number of integrals. So essentially, find things you feel happy with, are good at, or otherwise are inclined to, and turn them into something meaningful. Believe it or not, if someone thinks your story matters then it actually does: personal memory is great, but history is our superpower: we can write our stories among the stars.
    Hopefully this helps, I found myself in a similar place recently, and hearing you express your thoughts helped me articulate how I reconciled with my own then.🤎
    (also sorry for the wordwall, it might be so late that it's morning, and I may be desperately trying to burn off a 5PM espresso😅)

      Thanks for the comment, I do appreciate long responses. The only thing I have to add is that, this might be true, there are limitations and specific aspects which guide us into staying within certain parameters or limits, but within those, there can be infinite variety. I would point at chaos theory in this case. We could have a parameter, and within that, there are an infinite number of variations within that, and they seemingly lack order, and the only order we have is that there is a limit to how far out that "chaos" extends. Otherwise, those variations never overlap each other, but have an infinite variety. This is how I think about life, sure, there are the parameters which guide us, we can't step outside of certain limits, but within those limits, there could indefinite loops going on and perpetuating with only slight variations between each loop.

      @@Vekinuma (I know this is kinda tangent to your video, topically. i'm not trying to pester, more just trying to open a can of worms. gave a mouse a cookie go fig, i can bug off if you want)
      On the note of chaos theory, the distinction I want to draw is that we can't describe ourselves as particles, mechanisms, or mathematical models (yet). At some point, just like with quantum physics or neurology, observation and guesswork are indistinguishable, even by the tools we have at our disposal. That is to say, the parameters that fundamentally define us are still incomprehensibly complex, thus any parameter or pattern thereof that actually limits you or confines you is incredibly likely to be artificial, or just illusory.
      Let me ask you this, have you ever been unhappy, and nobody agrees? People get stuff wrong, and it takes years, decades, centuries, for it to be made right. Some things will never involve you, but when the things that do make your life worse, you can avoid them, or work to make the world a better place. I choose the latter of this dichotomy so that I can avoid the latter option of the dichotomy you gave in the video description. My whole calculus spiel was more to describe how I understand how to make my pain matter without causing more of it than to directly answer anything, so hopefully this makes more sense as an answer, and gives light to what I originally said.
      e: I just realized I haven't said anything appreciative, which I need to remediate immediately. YOUR STUFF IS GREAT! I've added you to my notify b/c I love to see what folks like you have to say

    Sólo quisiera decir qué encontré tú canal y ya acabó de ver los vídeos, hace mucho tiempo no sentía las emociones qué me hicieron sentir, no me alcancan las palabras para describirlas pero sí las ideas qué se funden unas con otras de forma alotropica , estaría encantado de poder almenos sacar una intacta y coherente sin quemarme las manos pero cielos qué la forma en la qué has presentado el contenido y el trabajo de cierta forma estructurado es de cierta modo lo qué alguna vez desee encontrar o ser.
    Y ahora qué está aquí simplemente no se cómo tomarlo pero algo de todo esté texto sin sentido qué estoy escribiendo (perdón no soy bueno con las palabras) es qué todo ésto sumado a ti me a facinado de forma desconcertante de podría decir ,y te agradezco por ello… enserio.

      Dicho esto quisiera preguntarte algo, ¿tú qué opinas o qué relación general encuentras cuando el concepto de descomponer se hace presente?

    • @Vekinuma
      @Vekinuma  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      When things are breaking down, I would perceive that as another cycle beginning. Things breaking down is a cycle, and when things are no longer breaking down, that cycle ends, and another begins. I could be more specific than that, I'm sure there are more exact terms for what decomposition is, and how it happens, but generally, the same rule can apply, the same fundamental. Thanks for watching.

      btw whats going on with the head? it looks really cool but i can't quite tell the structure of it, like is it like a mane (like on lions or horses)? and is it a specific species? just curious cuz i might wanna draw some fanart where knowing would be useful for drawing other angles, or use someething similar in my own art where i wouldnt wanna accidentally use like a claimed species

    Reality Recycles.
    I would add that cycles don't have to be linear, paradoxes are in of themselves, a cycle.
    There may also be a different approach to describing this fundamental, as periodic or aperodic states that may have the potential for change.
