The whole "I'm going to ruin it" is why I've started leaning so hard into PDF books and why I've started picking up extra copies of Kerby, Basford, & Karlson books. Part of why I stopped coloring as a kid as I would get a coloring book and be so afraid of ruining it or waiting to get "the perfect markers or crayons" that I had a stack of uncolored books back then. I've somehow never come across Maggie Enterrios before. Just added her to my shopping cart. 5 Favorites: Kerby Alien Worlds, Basford Worlds of Wonder, Karlson Tales From the Midnight Masquerade, The Official Goonies coloring book, and Ellezor's Beautiful Monsters.
Rooms of Wonder and Luna are two of my favorites as well! I love your idea of coloring Luna with the colors on the cover. How fun! I remember you were coloring I think Hanna Karlzon's forest kingdom book all in pastel colors...that inspired me to want to color a book with a theme as well :)
Thank you for introducing me to two new artists! I hear the anxiety lol, I just started making practice copies of my pages. It was so liberating for me I've been coloring all day! 😅
Great choices for your top five favorites! Love the Gnome sweet Gnome one too. There is a Christmas one out. Thanks for sharing. My personal top five would have to be: 1. Spooky Girl By: Coco Wyo 2. Winter Chibis By: Alexandra Francese 3. Gnome sweet Gnome By: Teresa Goodridge 4. Luna By: Maria Trolle 5. Summertime Grand Blac By: Hatchett Heroes
I have Mein Reise Europa too! And I’m the same I love her artwork but have not colored in it because of intimidation 😅 I would love to do a buddy color with you to break in our books! 🎉
I'm the worst at buddy colors lol. Rarely do I end up doing them because then I feel forced to do the page. Such a backwards way of thinking, I know hah
It was fun seeing your top 5 fave books. I only have the Rooms of Wonder, although the Rita Berman one is on my wishlist! My top 5 is subject to change but Kerby Rosane's Mythomorphia, The Official Game of Thrones colouring book (the one where the characters in it are not based on the tv characters!), Ken Matsuda's colouring book, Briar colouring andThe Circle of Life
I love your choices for your Top 5. I think mine this year would be Rising by Karolina Kubikowska, Tropigoth by Karla Magana, the Rabbit book from Amazon Japan, Tales from The Forest Kingdom by Hanna Karlzon and Meine Reise Durch Asien by Rita Berman xxx❤
I'm pretty new to coloring and my favorites so far have been Hanna Karlzon Jewelry Box and Maria Trolle Nightfall. I have a plethora of Selina Fenech coloring books because I started collecting them several years ago, I have all of Cris Ortega's coloring books I purchased recently, a Harry Potter one I was gifted, and a Junji Ito Uzumaki coloring book I'll probably never color in that I bought bc I'm a huge fan of his manga. I'm always on the look out for new books and I've been looking at a few Johanna Basford and Kerby Rosanes coloring books but they look a bit intimidating to me so I haven't purchased them yet. I love horror so I've been looking into horror coloring books as well like Alan Robert's Beauty of Horror series. I also have a ton of single pages from Christine Karron, Hanna Karlzon, Sarah Richter, Mariola Budek and Cris Ortega, but I haven't gotten around to coloring any of them except one of my Hanna Karlzon ones which I've almost finished. Most of my coloring so far has been in Nightfall since I like coloring florals a lot and I'm working on improving skin, hair and fur and that book gives me some cute pages to work on. My next one from her will probably be Luna.
Both of those are great books! I do like Selina Fenech, but I've usually gotten her PDFs just because the books on Amazon use Createspace paper which I'm not a big fan of.
Hello! Thanks for your review! What a great idea to colour a book with only one colour according to the cover illustration ! Love Luna, might buy it 😉 and the Gnomes’one is so cute! Nice Christmas period 😉 Have a good day!!🌸🦄🌸
@@ColorfullyOptimistic For sure 😂😉👌 but it is maybe more interesting for burnishing, blending and colour gradients, and textures! Anyway you did something wonderful !!😃🌸🦄🌸
Lovely! The Europe one looks sooo good. But i prefer using alcohol markers so I can only get books printed on one side. Oh so sad, I wish she would have single page version too.
Great choices! I do have Gnome Sweet Gnome and it's one of my favorites. Another is The Enchanting Fairies Coloring Book. The fairy images are so "old fashioned" 🥰 🙋
I have about 35books.. not a lot but not enough!! But I just look for different things to color. It all depends on my MOOD ...so I'm always looking for new books!!
I don't have a favorite book because I don't know what I want to color yet. I keep trying different things, but I know I don't like flowers because most books I see are 90% flowers and I've had enough flower coloring and don't want to color another flower for as long as I live. Am I the only one sick of flower coloring? Should I be wearing armor right now to protect myself from the oncoming verbal abuse?
In the past: buy coloring books for kids, so adults can work, find the sustain and food, rest, sleep Today: Kids using iphones, and adults using coloring books
All beautiful choices … one problem though… PLEASE colour in these books you love so much- you need to more faith in yourself because you are such an amazing colourist! You definitely won’t ruin it 🥰💙🥰 But I completely know the feeling!!! I’m Too scared to start anything, but no need for you to! I know it’s supposed to be about fun anyway
Aw, your unfinished page in the Rita Berman book looked good to me! :)
Oh thank you!
@@ColorfullyOptimistic you're welcome! It's the truth, you are a talented colorist!

Yea sometimes I'll scan them if I'm not sure

Yea I still have that all pastel one in progress
My favorites are all of the Karolina kubikowska books. I also love the Rita berman Europe book

What a great video idea. My favorites definitely change every year, so it would be fun to take a look back.
Yea they really do change each year so it's fun to just revisit
I have 3 out of the 5 and agree they are amazing! Rooms of Wonder is still my all-time favorite.
It is super fun!

@@ColorfullyOptimistic they really are difficult to come by but I was extremely lucky that my friend was selling her 2nd copy xxx
Very nice books. Look forward to seeing a complete page. Ink House is still my number one fav
Oh that's a lovely book
Love your choice of books but I agree with you on Rita Berman’s books they scare me but beautiful books, lovely video as always love from the UK xx
They're so fun but gosh there is a way I want to do the pages but not sure how to execute it

I have a copy of the Boules de Poils coloring book that I love so much I can't bring myself to color in it. I understand.
Haha, yeah, often the ones I love the most I'm the worst at coloring in because I doubt myself.

I picked up Botanicum Artist's Edition, Seasons and Romantic Country 1&2 oh and Rita Berman's Winter book
Oooh I haven't looked into her artist's editions yet, but that is just because the paper and such is so good already in the normal books
Lovely! The Europe one looks sooo good. But i prefer using alcohol markers so I can only get books printed on one side. Oh so sad, I wish she would have single page version too.
I miss coloring with markers...
Great choices! I do have Gnome Sweet Gnome and it's one of my favorites. Another is The Enchanting Fairies Coloring Book. The fairy images are so "old fashioned" 🥰 🙋
haha, that's a good way to describe that one.
Great choices.👏
Of those you picked, Luna would be my favourite 😀
Luna is such a pretty book! She is such a talented artist.
Luna is on my list to get some day. All great choices for books though. OOOOOO
Luna is a great book!
id love to see your opinion on peter deligdesh's color me crazy!
Do you have a link to that one?
I have about 35books.. not a lot but not enough!! But I just look for different things to color. It all depends on my MOOD ...so I'm always looking for new books!!
Sometimes I wish I had fewer books to be honest.
Amazing choices and beautiful pages! 💜

Should I be wearing armor right now to protect myself from the oncoming verbal abuse?
Not sure what you mean about the verbal abuse? Everyone should color what brings them joy of course
@@ColorfullyOptimistic I'm being silly
I would love to see how you would color my designs! Just came out with a book and would love to send it to you if you would like.
In the past: buy coloring books for kids, so adults can work, find the sustain and food, rest, sleep
Today: Kids using iphones, and adults using coloring books
Brought luna last month love it by maria trolle ❤😊
Oh I hope you like it!
What do you color with? Pencil, markers, or crayons?
I use color pencils, watercolor pencils, Inktense, markers, and watersoluble crayons
All beautiful choices … one problem though… PLEASE colour in these books you love so much- you need to more faith in yourself because you are such an amazing colourist! You definitely won’t ruin it

I will color in them lol.
I do not own any of these books, DARN! I can see why they are your favs! TFS!!
It's OK if you don't. You may have others that are good favorite ones
mi sarebbe piaciuto di più vedere le copie dei libri colorati
I copy all my books. I never color directly in a book.
Nothing wrong with that. There are quite a few people that do that :)
How can I send you a copy of my book for free for you to color?
You can email colorfullyoptimistic@gmail
Anyone can work with this five topic, or can be faced any copy-right things?
I don't know if I understand what you mean?
