- In this video I recap my day fishing the Florida Kayak Bass Trail (FKBT) 2024 Season Opener on Headwaters Lake in Fellsmere, FL! Things did not start off the way that I wanted with a couple nice fish being lost at the boat, but I didn't give up and ended up discovering a spot that a surprising bait (for this lake) was working really well at.
Overall, a pretty decent day on the water, just needed to find a few nicer fish to score better in the tournament!

Hey, bro in thinking about heading there next weekend. Did they clear the Kayak launch area? Or did you launch at Headwaters Boat ramp?
I usually launch at the kayak launch. It's a bit muddy around there now but the floating mats were blown away a couple weeks ago. You shouldn't have to walk too far to find a clear spot to launch at.
