Long Range Topwater Redfish | Myakka River Kayak Fishing - Port Charlotte, FL
In today's video we are out at the mouth of the Myakka River as it enter Charlotte Harbor looking for some quality inshore kayak fishing! This was my first time out there, so I made the most of it and ended up fishing almost 9 hours on a very hot June day.
I ended up catching a few decent fish, but overall it was just a great day to be out on the water enjoying nature to the fullest!

Don't Run Over Sleeping Manatees! (Accident) | Kayak Fishing Tampa Bay, FL
มุมมอง 470วันที่ผ่านมา
Today's video starts off a bit crazy when I accidentally run over a sleeping manatee early in the morning with my kayak. Manatees have been known to flip kayakers out of their kayaks when they spook, so I am usually pretty wary of them and will keep my distance, but this one was sleeping and I had no idea it was there! We also made a new friend, Reginald the Cormorant. Oh, and I caught a couple...

Pre-Fishing for the Gambler Lures Free Kayak Tournament on the Kissimmee Chain
มุมมอง 30021 วันที่ผ่านมา
In today's video we're out on Lake Hatchineha pre-fishing for the Gambler Lures Free Kayak Tournament out on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, hosted by Camp Mack! I really had no plan for this trip other than I needed to find areas that were holding fish and figure out what they might be biting. I might have went a little too far with that goal because I ended up catching a really nice fish that I...

In today's video we are back on the hunt for one of the elusive tagged redfish for the CCA Florida Star Tournament. This time around, I actually catch some decent redfish, a couple little snook, some really nice spotted seatrout, and a few other oddball fish. This was a great day to be out on the bay and I'm looking forward to my next trip out there! Hit the bell to get notified when I post my ...
Searching for a $50,000 Redfish! | Kayak Fishing Tampa Bay, Florida
มุมมอง 562หลายเดือนก่อน
In today's video we are on the hunt for one of the elusive tagged redfish for the CCA Florida Star Tournament. A tagged redfish could win me a brand new boat, motor, and trailer package and there's even a Super Star Redfish worth $50,000! Unlucky for me, the reds weren't biting today, but the seatrout were still reliable and hanging out where they usually can be found in the grass flats near Co...

มุมมอง 1.1K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
In today's video we're at Lake Istokpoga pre-fishing for the next stop of the Florida Kayak Bass Trail 2024 season. I was able to key in on some fish rather quickly and had enough confidence in the lake and what the fish were doing to go ahead and pack everything up and head out early! Unfortunately, the day of the tournament did not go as planned and I didn't catch a single fish the whole day....

Catching a Couple Crankbait Bass | Tenoroc FMA Bass Fishing
มุมมอง 2724 หลายเดือนก่อน
In today's video I'm back at Tenoroc Fish Management Area in Lakeland, FL doing a little fun fishing. I tried out Lake Hydrilla this time around, since all of the other lakes seemed pretty busy. I did not have high hopes since the lake has not done well since being sprayed, but I did manage to get a few fish to bite using a shallow crankbait in the sticks that line the edge of the lake. Hit the...
Taking on the 4th Annual Headwaters Hog Hunt | Headwaters Lake Fellsmere, Florida
มุมมอง 1K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video I'm fishing the 4th Annual Headwaters Hog Hunt. This is a catch photo release style tournament on Headwaters Lake in Fellsmere, Florida. Me and my teammate (who did most of the work really haha) managed to get third in the tournament and took home some sweet plaques! I ...

In today's video we're at my least favorite set of lakes in Florida, the Harris Chain of Lakes. I decided to fish history at this event, and that would have probably worked if I also didn't have to deal with a 50-60 local boat tournament that launched out of the same ramp as me. Anyways, I almost managed a limit and I'm looking forward to putting this one behind me! Hit the bell to get notified...

This was a good video man. I can't believe how green the water was. That Gators was something else man. I would have want to land when it started coming to me like that. You can call me a girl but i don't play with Gators man. The car sounds i have the something where i live too so i am just use to it. That was good advice about standing up sideways on the kayak. 🛶 Setting the hook. This was a good video man thanks you for sharing this video buddy .
Hey buddy how you doing man ? I like how you started the video man. That was pretty cool. I just like to see how you started your fishing 🎣 day . I am glad that you was able to catch something out there. I am also glad that it didn't rain on you out there too. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video & be safe out there on the water buddy.
Those are the best day man when you catch a P B man. Congratulations man on your catch man .

A Heddon Spook Jr is a hard bait for fish to pass up. Smaller profile and casts a mile 🔥🔥 the yozuri hydro pencil is a good snook bait but I find it doesn't draw strikes like the spook jr
I'll have to try it out! Thanks!
Hello buddy how you doing man. That was a good video man. I hope your foot is ok man. I know what that feels like because I have to kayak 🛶 barefooted 👣 because I have big & very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 sz15 6E wide ( which is very very extremely wide feet 🦶 ) with very very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. It's very very very very Extremely hard to find close toes footwear for me because of how my toes are Evenly straight across. Those was some nice fish you Court man. It's awesome that you getting up to 500 subscribers man. Congratulations to you man. When you put out good video people will watch it man. I am one of them & you being funny on the video too. I like how you kayak barefooted 👣 too man because I I said I have to kayak barefooted 👣 too. It's so awesome to see others people do the same thing you do too. Thanks you for sharing this video buddy.
Thanks for the support!
Just subscribed.. never been to cockroach bay. I've been to Simmons a few times. Its a bit of a drive from Oldsmar. Nice reds BTW.
Thank you! Cockroach Bay is great for kayaking, plenty of places to hide from the wind and waves.
Great wideo helmet to start use tohoo lake is in my back yard. Great professional video and beautiful content. Thanks. Nelson Colón.
Thanks for the support!
Been down that road before, paddled right over the top of a sleeping manatee, launched the front of my kayak three feet up in the air, almost dumped me, had a good laugh.
An intense moment of terror followed by laughing like you heard the best joke of your life!
This is one of the best videos man. Especially how you said ( what was that & Then you yelling ) this Deserve a 1,000 like man. I definitely give you one. Good video buddy thanks you so much for sharing this with us.
You're welcome!
That was a close one
Sure was!
Thanks for sharing you’re video brother great day in the lake I know it wasn’t the outcome you really wanted but I felt you did very good and did what you had to! You’re going to do better keep pushing yourself and continue to build confidence in your abilities and you will cling to the top! Tight lines sir take care and God bless.
Thanks for the support, I appreciate it!
Hey Nathaniel, question - propeller vs fins. I see you use a FIN drive on your kayak. Why did you choose fins and not propeller? Can you go backwards using the fins? Is there a speed difference? Do the fins allow you to go in a shallower water? Thanks!
A fin drive is always going to be better for grassy and shallow water. I'm also partial to Hobie's (I've owned 5 different Hobie kayaks) and they're only fin drive. The 180 flip-up drive is probably the best kayak drive on the market in my opinion.
Great video! I wrote you on FB... I ran over a manatee that I didn't see cause of peanut butter water in Tampa Bay, and KABOOM!!! Huge depth charge of water and instantly drenched with about 10 gallons of water in my yak! When they slap those tails, it gets pretty intense! One thing is for sure... don't need any caffeine for a while after that!! lo! Great video - cheers! (FYI: Those huge manatees only have 3-5% body fat!!! That's why they go to warm waters in the winter by the power plants)
Thanks for the support! I've seen them freak out from a distance before, never been on the receiving end of it until this time haha
Great and funny reaction!! I was wading and threw my cast net on what I thought was bait! MANATEE!!! My friend swears I ran on top of the water back to the shore!!😂 Keep up the great videos!!
Oh man, I can't imagine pulling that net back in with a manatee inside. That would be quite the commotion! Thanks for the support!
The timing of that was perfect. Sure to be a viral short if you put it out. I would have reacted the same way. 😅
Thanks Greg! Yea the short will be out Friday morning haha
happened to me in cockroach bay also, i was left of boat ramp and then way left back where it doubles back to main channel when i had it happen. subscribed, i live in wv but make that trip 2 times a year to there, maybe run into you sometime. tight lines and great video!
Thanks for the sub! Yea, it's quickly becoming my favorite spot to get on the water for saltwater, always something new going on in the area and lots of different things to fish for.
This was a very very good funny video man. You had me laughing so so so hard man when you ran over that Manatees man. But i would have done the same thing too so i am not laughing at you. I yelled like a little girl when a snake came by my kayak 🛶 so i know how it is man. I am glad you was catching some fish man. That was awesome to see a special buddy hanging out with you & kayaking 🛶 with you. I really enjoyed watching this video man. Thanks you for sharing this video & looking forward to seeing more of your videos man. Happy 4th of July to you & your family man.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
@nathanielholleyfishing Buy the way Happy 4th of July to you and your family man. I hope you enjoyed it with your family and friends. Looking forward to your next video man. You have a good weekend buddy & safe weekend buddy.
That happened to me once out in mosquito lagoon launching from Beacon 42. Was a small pod of them sleeping near the mangroves. If you weren't awake before that, definitely were after.
Best cup of Coffee I've ever had haha
The sped up DC sounds so funny 😂 Great video 🙌
Thanks Timmy!
Great job brother
Thanks man!
Great quality visuals and enjoyed it!
Glad you enjoyed it, Buz! Thanks for the support!
Good job out there! Another great video!
Thanks, Seth!
Thanks for sharing your day good luck in the tournament tight lines sir!!!
Thank you for the support!
Another great video! Looking forward to the tournament!
Thanks, I appreciate it!
What throttle mount is that?
A piece of 1/4 inch starboard with the throttle mounted to it. The starboard is then held to the H-Rail by two yak-attack t-bolts.
You are my favorite TH-camr. I wish I could catch as many fish as you. Keep it up man
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Looked like a fun day out there! That was a nice Red!
Thanks Seth! It was a fun day, looking forward to my next trip out there!
I’m going down to Toho this weekend for the first time I planned on flipping grass and looking for deeper clean hydrilla. I have no electronics on my boat…any advice would be greatly appreciated! I’m only 14 and I catch some big bass pretty consistently but having no electronics kills me especially when I travel to bigger lakes! 😭
TBH, electronics aren't all that helpful on Toho. Find areas of scattered hydrilla or flip the Kissimmee grass and you should find fish. It can be tough during the summer though, so keep that in mind.
Awesome day on the water. Just the video was worth being out there. I am not sure I have it in me to kayak though. LOL! I'll stick to my boat for now. Enjoyed the video and subbed.
Thanks for the support!
Are you fishing the 2 day championship in September?
No, I didn't make it to a second event to qualify.
Some big gators in there
Trout or actual gators haha
How did you like the tournament? I've been fishing it for the past two years.
It's a good format, just wish there were a few more tournaments farther south, the closest was 2.5 hours from me. I'll be up in NW FL in a year or so and will be able to fish more tournaments up there.
Good video man. Look like a fun day on the water for fishing too. I like how you was kayaking barefooted 👣 too man. That is awesome. I have to kayak barefooted 👣 style too because I have big very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 sz15 6E wide ( which is very very extremely wide feet 🦶 ) with very very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe . I have a question do the straps on the pedal come off ? I also like your flip flops 🩴 you have too. Do you know what kind of flip flops 🩴 they are? That is all i can wear Because of how extremely wide my feet 🦶 are. My feet 🦶 outgrow shoes , socks , and boots when I was young because of how extremely wide my feet 🦶 are. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video man & be safe out there on the water man.
Straps come off on the pedals. Xtratuf Auna Sandals. Sorry about your unique feet situation!
@@nathanielholleyfishing Thanks you so much sir I really do appreciate that. It's not easy at all with feet 🦶 that are a sz15 6 E wide that 6 1/2 inches wide with chubby fat wide toes with a big toe that about 2" inches wide & the rest of my toes are over 1"inches wide. I was born with very very extremely wide feet 🦶 & had to grow up wearing flip flops 🩴 or playing around barefooted 👣 outside. It's such a big problem for me That my foot Doctor are talking about doing surgery on my feet 🦶 To try to shrink them down. That how bad it is. But my wife has a very very extremely bad foot fetish over my extremely wide feet 🦶 with very chubby fat wide toes that I have. She is really really is in love ❤️ with my chubby fat wide toes. But I love are so bad for it. She wanted to have a flip-flops wedding for me because of my Extremely feet 🦶 & we did too. Again thank you so much for Your comment because my feet 🦶 is considered a disability problem because shoes & socks won't fit on my feet 🦶. You take it easy buddy and be safe on the water & I Apologize for talking so long about m feet 🦶 Problem.
The pb was cool but that one eating that jig at the end was EPIC!
Right!?!? I was losing my mind! Thanks!
Great video brother. What pit are you fishing in this video?
Thanks for the support! It's one of the reclaimed lakes.
Im in Davenport and considering bringing my kayack to Lake Toho for some fishing. Which launch point did you use?
Big Toho Marina
Hello friend, I really liked your fishing. I also fish by kayak in Tampa Bay. I would like to meet you and go fishing together. Very good videos. Thank you for reading my message.
If you see a Camo Hobie Outback out there, it might be me! Swing by and say hello!
I would have liked to see how you put it back onto the kayak down by the water, to take it back to your vehicle. using bungees to pull it up into the scuppers is a popular way to do it with the Hobie scupper version. you wouldn't want to have to tip it sideways to access the scupper holes with all that gear on it.
Tipping it to insert the cart is the best way I have found so far with my setup, but 90% of the time I pull the kayak into the back of my truck at the ramp. Usually, all I need to take off is my crate and secure any loose items before tipping on the shore. I tend to just use the cart for setting up my rig and getting it to the shore when the ramp is busy in the morning.
Was this the north or south end of pan?
North end most of the trip.
Awesome catch Nathan!! That was a tank!!
Thanks Seth!
Nice Bass that’s a lunker
Thank you!
I fished 30 years of tournaments on Kissimmee chain out of Camp Mack the area you are fishing I have never fish that area launching were you put in does have access to Kissimmee chain
That's good to know, a bit far for me to kayak though haha
Awesome 👏🏼 👏🏼🙌🏼👏🏼 day!!
Yes it was!
Nicely done sir! Subbed so I can hopefully learn a thing or two. Great video
Thanks for the sub! Hoping I can teach you and others a few things haha
Congrats on those catches....
Thank you!
What kayak is this?
It's a 2023 Hobie Outback
Awesome!!! Great work!
Thank you!
Sweet catches. What’s your favorite Harris chain lake? And what lake was that on?
Thanks! This was one of the north western Kissimmee Chain lakes. My favorite Harris Chain Lake is Beauclair, but I also like Horseshoe and the A-B canal.
Enjoyed video and awesome catch at end.
Thanks, I appreciate it!
