Thanks for the video, I really enjoyed watching y'all work. It brought to mind some of the times I worked with my welder friend, Reverend Hayes, on my truck or tractor. The reverend was at times as ornery as MBTS, but we laughed and joked and had a great time working on projects together. His shop was a bit less 'weather-tight' than yours so sometimes it was a bit muddy, but we had fun nonetheless. Great content, keep up the good work.

Thanks Aaron for your reasoning for using a grinder instead of torch/plasma/gouging ... gonna end up grinding anyway I suppose; I just have an aversion to grinding from my youth on the Rail Road/Texas sun ... deep welded Rails SUCK grinding all day. But do think you would be well served if you had a leather Welder's Apron for all of those options. Great show guys ... love watching your interactions. No prob on "Lt. Dan" ... you'll never finish anyway (yeah, double dog dare there).

Guys, I knooow this is not "live" but it seems like it is. I think you need to add a "knight" light for hitching/unhitching the trailer at night. We have 4 trailers and none have a night light. We get by with the brake/reverse light. But, it would be safer for people and machinery to have a good light for hitching & unhitching a trailer before dawn & after dark, which you guys do frequently. I like the way you guys work. Seems like fun any way.
It's what ever a person is comfortable with using whether it's a grinder or torch myself I would use the grinder because like you said it makes for a cleaner cut

DP if you get good annular cutter for your mag drill you will throw all your twist drill bits away. Those are so precise and sharp they are amazing, if you burn up the typhoon invest in a dewalt or milwaukee and you'll be set to go. I will use these in my milling machine when I need a hole that is dead nuts on instead of under drilling and boring to size. Also when you drill bigger than a 1/2" hole, you don't have use 3 or 4 different size bits to get to size.
I have faith in Aaron and his welding. The true test of welding is that I will just tack it. Then you have to torch and hammer it to take it off. New name for working in the shop. Rocking with the good time, boys.
I have done a TON of arc gouging. It is one of the loudest operations in fabrication. It is faster than a grinder in some situations BUT a grinder does not make your ears ring an hour after you are done. Use the right tool for the job. For this, it would take longer to set up the arc gouger than it took to just use the grinder. As for the bolts. I say just use new. Great work guys.
Hey there guys. Love seeing you two haggle while working and I think your pintel hitch will work just fine. So far, every mod you guys have done seems to have been right on the money. I enjoyed the last several vids where you guys layed tiles in massive field. I was amazed how much water flowed out of those corrugated tubes. I never expected those tubes to collect and redirect that much water. I know absolutely nothing about Aggri-farm fields and the process behind laying tiles to redirect water from the fields but I learned a lot from seeing the end result of your labors. Jack the rear tires off the ground and run them for 10 minutes to spread out the liquid tube, maybe I should get some for my riding tractors.
