Bro personally i appreciate the effort you put in this video . This is the best video I’ve seen so far on trucking . I’m in school to get my CDL and I want to get my own truck this year . So this video helps me a lot . Thank you man !!
The thing about convoy is that u have to use they trailer to book dry Van loads! Once you drop you can pay like 150 to keep the trailer for 70 hours and move an groove! The money is on the back haul ! They’ll give you like 1250 to go and come back 1200 miles round trip but if you bringing one back that’s paying 2k plus then you winning because it’s like you made 3,250 for 1200 miles just food for thought bro
#Facts Out West.. I've done 3 loads for them. I would do a load going 1100 miles for 4k, then use trailer get about 1500-2k coming back (wack area) and it take about 6days round trip. Did 1 other like that from TX to ID and back, was killing it, but that was before these fuel prices tho 🤦🏿♂️
Say less. I seen these types of loads/trailers in my area on convoy. I'm transitioning from box to semi so learning before I get my keys. This a gem right here.
💎 💎 💎.... appreciate this video KB.... thank God I own my truck because keeping it close and keeping my fuel low is going to help keep me in the game... new authority myself
After about one year I started renting a trailer for a few months and then I purchase a trailer rates are down right now as you know but when rates come up I’m going be ready 😂
Same.. I'm on way to the crib today to make it Home for Father's Day, but there's someone I found on FaceBook group, who got a trailer, they may let me rent until I can get my own as well, or if it's a decent trailer, I may see if he willing do Rent-to-Own and payments lead to buying it My biggest issue is parking, cuz I also got plug on a flatbed, rates right now for Flatbed is still steady, not low like Van or Reefer, but I would need a parking area to drop my trailers
3:12 is his calculations correct need help understanding .. I thought you divide the miles by your mpG and what number you get is the gallons you need so you multiply that by the $ per gallon.. so in his example of 1.00$ isn’t that off ?
It depends on what the price of fuel is at that time so a year ago prices were 6 7 per gallon now they are 4.5 average you divide by 6.5 miles per gallon it's going to be around .75 cents per mile and don't forget to add your Def fluid to it as well I hope this clarifies it for you
When you are a new driver that just got a new truck would you be able to use the spot market or you must have your own authority in order to use it ? Will I be able to jump into spot market or must go power only with big companies ?
Like your content bro...I never looked at the way you take a load based on the miles you run for fuel. I am gonna use that method, it only makes sense for your profit.
As well as these new guys come in and they tell them that if you do a lease you can make more money then the .40 .45 cpm they getting they sell them a bill of goods of promises

How lond did you have your authority before hitting these boards
Great vid…I don’t know anything about trucking…but looking to get into the Cargo Van shipping….do you have any load boards for Cargo Vsn
Can someone fill me in about the weight why is the heavy weight a problem ?
-burns more fuel
-more stress on your truck & trailer
-sometimes they lie, so when you go to the weigh station you be overweight
Gonna burn down your engine bro

Yo kb do u get paid that day when u pick up the load … how does that work
Big up!
What is the driving experience needed to sign with these load boards?
Yeah, because they are telling me, I got to wait for sixty days...that's bull, they just trying to make you hurt.
You need to have your own insurance?
Yes
What does live unload mean ?
Do you need to wait there for them to unload it ?
Live unload is where you make a delivery and they have to unload that trailer you brought and you leave with that trailer as well.
Is this for hotshot?
Some sucker will take those low paying freight
Yup all these come up hustle kings and queens oversaturating the industry and running cheap loads
Yeah ot will take some time but they will be getting break downs and going out of business
