I had this issue but fitted hook and loop behind the carpet and onto the body of the car and the carpet hasn't moved since. Only took 30 mins each side for a neat job. Also isn't visible like these. Not sure if these add any class as such but each to their own. Just thought I would offer an alternative to these for those who share my view. Good video all the same.
2:14 the carpet not fitting properly isn’t a thing that started happening as the cars are getting older. The sad thing is they do that from the day the carpet was put in the car on the production line.

Interesting and thank you! I assumed, perhaps wrongly, that it was an age related thing.
