I like that your vid didn't go into the whole, you have to be wearing this or that. We had a guy show up at a 3d shoot in a full guilly suit making the same claim, "Practice like you hunt " comments. But ya if you are shooting from an elevated platform then you need to practice shooting from an elevated platform. Even ground hunters need to practice up and down hill shots and these can be the hardest shots to make. I wish someone would make a vid on what to compensate for when shooting on steep grades for trad bow hunters.
Do you compensate for when the deer drops to duck the arrow? If so, how low are you instinctively aiming? Some guys say they aim at knee level of the deer as long as they are aligned with the vitals left to right.

But just in case it didn’t the answer is no I don’t compensate for the deer dropping. If you have a quiet bow most of the time they don’t react until they are hit. If the deer is alert then they will react a little but usually not enough to affect a kill shot.
