Nice video, I am going to be at the Cancun airport Christmas week and I am a bit nervous. Last time I was at the Cancun airport I remember it was very chaotic. I am used to chaos in Mexico, but Cancun was one of the most chaotic airports in all of Mexico. I am hoping I can get a ado bus but I heard they don't run on Christmas so I might have to get a collectivo to PdelC
@@TheTwoTravelersInMexico I am not sure yet. It is a family reunion visit, so I need to see what the family is up for, but I know I want to see if I can do a side trip out to Ek Balam.
In the Baja California Peninsula (the east sea portion)the removal of sea objects (sea shells provided shelter and protection to certain creatures) are to remain on the beach. So, perhaps this rule may also apply to the Yucatán Peninsula?! This rule is not well known or disregarded. The Duty free items are presumably vetted for safety. Recall the volume restrictions came about after 2001.
It has more to do with the size of the object. Otherwise you could't carry things like sea shell necklaces. If we had check a bag it could have gone into that bag but we weren't going to pay the checked bag fee. -Marc
I really like the Cancun airport. 😊
Hi Debra, it is a nice airport. -Marc
Hola!! Saludos
Hola Elsa, cómo estás?
The airport is a veritable shopping mall! Cool airport though.
An upscale shopping mall. -Marc

Christmas in PDC? Sounds like fun. Are you also going to visit Tulum and Cozumel while you’re there? -Marc
