Friends Kelly Peacey & Rev. Helen James explore King Arthur’s Cave in Herefordshire, near Symonds Yat in Lord’s Wood, in The Doward, Wye Valley.
The energy is powerful & quite overwhelming at times, so grounding & energy maintenance is key - Kelly takes us through this illuminated by candle quartz. King Arthur’s Cave was formed organically by carboniferous limestone which is dated to be around 350 million years ago. It’s one of only five caves in the UK that were used as a dwelling for early man during the Upper Palaeolithic era. Recent archaeological digs have found evidence of flint tools, human bones, hyenas and even woolly mammoth remains here.
One if the many local legends tell of King Arthur hiding out here from Saxon invaders. He decides to bury his treasure deep under the cave and Merlin casts a protection spell so that it could never be taken!
