- We had the chance to go to Windrock riding park in Tennessee. 1,800 miles road trippin and what an incredible experience, we can not say enough good about the people that came out to meet and ride with us. This was a short trip and we only had 3 days to get in as much riding and meet as many people as possible. We know we only scratched the surface of what Windrock has to offer but that just means we have to come back! Thank you to each and everyone of you that we had the pleasure to meet or ride with! We feel our machines did very well the way they are set up and couldn't be happier with how they performed!

Just got my HCR Long travel for Honda Talon 1000R. Can’t wait to take it out on the trail.

I wish I could have been there to watch you guys. For some reason I cant ever seem to go ride when someone has portals. Still have yet to see some hit tough trails

Finally, someone made a video with Portals been thinking about portals for a while now wasn't sure already 72" wide turbo S 4seater this would solve two problems get rid of that high ass gear and ground clearance can't wait for the next Windrock video

With my machine set up more for Tennessee, Kentucky I run 2" forward control arms, 4" portals and 35. It 84in wide haven't been on a tail it couldn't make it up.

I live 20 min from brimstone and 45min from windrock and 10 min from royal blue

Which is better riding for a sxs windrock or royal blue??? What are the differences between the two?
Have you thought about coming to South Dakota? The Black Hills have some excellent trails to run. Just a thought. Glad to see a new vid.

I'm not able to fit the warrior rt on my sxs how do you guys like warrior xt for snow wheeling? Do the sidewalls have decent flex at low pressure? Your opinion would be very helpful as they have no reviews.
So far the XT has been great in the snow. Yes they have really good sidewall flex.

How do the portals hold up on open trail . Want to run a set but I use my machine all purpose
I would like to know what % gear reduction y’all picked with your 4in portals & with that info running 34 or 35s what’s the top speed change loss? Thanks
In both Turbo S machine we run one with 30% and the orange with 15%. the 15% with 35's has no top end loss and the 30% with 34's lost about 8mph off the top
I live in Arkansas & I’m on the fence of witch gear% to go with. Given your Tennessee trip what did y’all like or did better 15% or 30%? I’ll be running 34 or 35s. Thanks again

How tall is your portal? 4” or 6”?
You guys inspired me to trick out my 2019 Kawasaki teryx 4 with the lift and portals and 34 inch tires but my suspension sucks as far as ride or flexibility any suggestions
That is awesome Chris, the key to that machine to get more flex is to run a long travel kit. It will provide more shock travel and better articulation!
Go down to 30" Carnivores, get rid of the sway bars, lighten up the preload or just trade it for an X3!
Honestly get rid of the Kawasaki and get a Polaris or Can-am
Chris Murphy lower your tire pressure. Lower your compression clickers down and remove your sway bar. It won’t be like an x3 or rzr but will help. Teryxs ride rough.

I have a 2014 rzr 1000 with a solid metal wrks lift kit with 6 inch portals and a gear reduction on 40 inch bkt 171s. I broke the snorkle gear and transmission case and the a Turner axle. The boots are always getting tore up and seems like the suspension kit puts everything in a bind and at a bad angle .I'm really rough on parts what would you recommend for a reliable suspension kit that will take a beating. Also what size lift would clear the 40s with the portals .
The key to portals and reducing parts failures is they give you the lift without compromising suspension angles. I would remove the lift and keep the portals and I bet you have a much better experience.

It was just this last October.
If you go in July then the most important thing you can bring is water and lots of it. It gets hot out there. Windrock is our go to ride and we're out there every month of the year.
Thomas Bates yes sir we usually do. I’m from South Texas.....Windrock is mild weather compared to where we ride.
What's a portal?also how wide is your cars? You have to hit Royal blue an Brimstone stone!! Stay at trails in.
A portal is a gear box attached at each hub that gives you gear reduction, 4 inches of lift and makes you 8" wider. overall width is 83-85" depending on wheel offest on a Turbo S

Okay, so I found out the hard way Super ATV portals do not fit 4 seater Turbo S without spending $700, front brake caliper. A restocking fee. 30% plus I, I have to pay the return shipping.... buyer beware
We have talked about that several time in our videos. Yes unfortunately at this time you have to purchase different front calipers to make the portals work on the turbo S 4 seater
