Windrock Day One Trail 22

- This was our Day one ride at Windrock. It was supposed to rain all day but fortunately it never more than sprinkled. The Trails though were still soaked from previous 5 inches of rain, and lots of MUD! On this day we got stuck multiple times in thick sticky clay like mud. Even put a machine on it's side in a deep rut. All in all lots of fun with good friends Paul, Mary Lou, Nick , Tiki and their two girls. Stay tuned for day two and three

Mud holes, deep snow/slush if you make a trip to the dunes this year I smell a trifecta in getting buried hah. Like "The Big Year" in birding just with way more horsepower. Great video! #glamis2019

Grim Reaper thanks for watching. This was our first time at WR. It was very,very wet and muddy when we were there, so we didn't get the full experience. Trail 22 was fun, and trail 12 down in creaks was very cool, and 15 was the toughest, we did this trip. Next time we go (Feb) hopefully weather is better and we want to hit more of the challenging trails.

We usually have 5 to 8 guys and gals that ride. This was our first time at Windrock. We mostly ride Hatfield McCoy.

Yup, I have both. X3 XMR Turbo R and RZR Turbo S. Technology is incredible in them both. And I point and they go. Can’t go wrong with either one, except when it comes to maintenance, the RZR is hands down a better machine to work on.

SLR are Great Videos, actually that was a lot of my motivation to ride Windrock. We've been riding Hatfield McCoy 2 to 3 times a year for a while now, and it was a nice change of pace.

Yeah, Crawlers aren’t the greatest tire in mud.
I agree, but surprising enough the Crawlers were the only tires that mad it without winching.
keep your wheel speed up in mud it will clean the mud out & make them dig

If it's been raining I may avoid this trail. It didn't seem to bad when it was dry.
What tires do u have on that Can Am ?
You couldn't keep me out of the mud when I younger but now I try to avoid it, lol, I don't mind a lil mud here and there but that was some slop yall were in, I love it up at Windrock, videos do no justification for how rough that stuff is
Thanks for watching Rob. That was about the worst I've seen trail 22. And that week the creeks down on trail 12 were deep and fast.
Last time I was on trial 22 was almost 2yrs ago, man it was rough, lots of wash out, its was in need of some repair and patch work, but I'm pretty sure they fixed it since I was there but yeah I love Trail 22 it's my favorite
I enjoyed your video. Are you running two GPS and if so why? Is the one on your left a Garmin Montana?
Yes Montana on left and Garmin 276cx on right. I run 2 for a number of reasons. A backup. One I keep zoomed in close, other zoomed out to show more trail. Montana I keep detail level set to low, 276cx is the one I use for showing custom made tracks we want to run.

It's the X3 RC R (Rock Crawler). The new model is Orange and black

@@mandytuning Stock the RC came with 30's I'm running and would recommend 32's. This is the 72"
