I’ve lived in Sarrià, San Gervasi (on the border of Gracia), and Poblenou. Personally, I would recommend Sarrià if you like a quiet, sophisticated atmosphere with lots of greenery. Gracia has many unique local shops, so I think it would appeal to young yuppies who enjoy a more dynamic vibe. Poblenou is great because it's close to the beach and has a relaxed neighborhood feel. However, in the summer, there can be a lot of tourists, and aside from the Rambla del Poblenou, some areas are still underdeveloped, which made the atmosphere feel a bit chaotic to me 😅
We used to go to Barcelona a lot. After that protest by the locals where they were hassling the tourists we decided not to go there again for a long while. Many other friendly places that would welcome you and not be racist 🐽
@@spinachtriangle the protest gave such a bad image to the city. Barcelona has a lot of potential unfortunately an incompetent government is doing a bad job. Local people should look at their own government instead of pointing fingers at tourists and foreigners
I love Sarria so much !
Gracia is so nice!! I think I’ll try to find my next apartment there 🙌
We can definitely help you with that
@@olafgroenewegen thank you! I’ll contact you about it 😊
