Most reviews on release: "Oh this game isn´t scary, this is a disappointment in the horror department, just a walking simulator with some philosophical themes..."
I actually agree for the most part. It’s not super scary. I just felt it had great moments and atmosphere of creepiness like the ones in this video. And I was sincerely scared moments. But I definitely understand what you are saying.
Most reviews are positive to be honest. So I guess those who said it is a walking simulator are either stupid and ignorant. This game is a story-driven game, It is like a movie, but instead of just watching your PC monitor, you're the one who is controlling the protagonist. I really dig this game. In every part of life, there are critics, and I don't give a fk about them.
I've never played SOMA before, but it looks really cool! I wish I had a PC and Wi-Fi but it has been 8 years since I had internet or a working computer..... 😂
I have build my own entry level gaming PC Ryzen 5 4650G with RX 580 8GB GPU 7 months ago..and SOMA was my 3rd priortiy to play,I have finished Stray and Little Nightmares 2 a week ago. Now, I am currently playing SOMA, I just can't progress that much 'cause I always worry about where I walk or go. 🤣🤣
@@TheGooseman14 I was left with mixed feelings. I was sad, frustrated, and confused. I mean, I don't even know how to feel with the ending. I mean, is the other version of him is truly him? or the real version of him is the one who is left in the deep ocean floor or I don't know.
@@godofredo0409 in my opinion, there is no real Simon anymore, it's like all the other Simons are part of him but never will be whole, they cab become their own simon if given enough time though The very moment i realized this i was in shock for like the next 3 days until i finished the game, and even after i still think about it
Honestly I’m not sure. I think it might be. I know the heart rate is going up which maybe makes it happen along with the depth. I feel like the character doesn’t actually crash into anything.
Gotta love that sense of impending doom from #11; when you're completely screwed and know it, so you just sit back and wait for the end, lol.
This game is basically the only horror game I've actually truly been wowed by.
Yeah it’s amazing!
Outlast 2. 💀
Actually Outlast 2 is by far the other scariest game I’ve ever played. The library section has permanently disturbed me.
@@theachievementplanner the cornfield part got me
@sadariuslewis9757 yeppp. That’s definitely a memorable time. On Insane mode, the cornfield killed me many times
the scariest moment for me was the first appearance of the leviathan
Believe it or not, that is exactly the same for me. One of the scariest things I’ve ever seen
people really underestimate how terrifying SOMA is, its honestly as scary as RE7 in my opinion
Yes I totally agree!
To me Soma is really more scary than RE7, RE7 has some shooter elements, Soma is only a claustrophobic future hell with corrupted human beings.
@@felippedias5446 I actually agree.
It's scarier.

literally one of the scariest games I've seen tbh
I think it's more scary than re7 and 4 and outlast

Darn sorry to hear that. Yeah, if you are ever able to play, it’s fantastic.

6:15 implosion?

Sure was, the depth he fell too is more than enough to crack through the hollow suit simon is wearing!
definitely implosion
