    Love this video! I’m a Big Sister myself (2+ years) and felt this video covered so many questions we all wondered before becoming a Big. I think and hope this video will encourage others to become a Big! Truly an awesome program & the BBBS does an incredible job matching up the Bigs w/ the Littles.
    Thanks again for posting this video you two! Hope y’all are still having a blast on your adventures.
    Much love - A fellow Big from BBBS Snohomish County (WA)

    This is a great video! I am a volunteer fundraiser and committee member in California. I love the interaction between the two of you. It's "relatable"!

    My son finally was marched after almost 2 years. I pray he remains safe and that this program enhances his ability to be a good human being and to have fun being a little brother 🙏🏾❤️

      How do they match them? I'm thinking of signing up to become a big sister but I'm not sure, I'm nervous.

      @@Xyz-we1bd they do a thorough background check, take on the families interest for the child and match them according to what big brother or big sister is willing to work with that child. They have an initial meeting to get a feel of one another, you also share your interests with big then they relay it to that family and let the family choose if they want to proceed to meet in initial agreement to sign everything and go from there. First 3 months meets once weekly for up to 2.5 hours. And after that it can go to 2 times a week. If you love kids don’t be nervous just act like a bigger sibling. Love and protect and have fun with them. That’s all.

    You are awesome!! I just got matched today, seriously feel like my match is my mini me. Do you have any suggestions, activities, or good ways of tracking our memories?

      Take lots of photos together, and look up cheap things to do in your city. Ali and I have done almost everything in Toronto that can be done for under $20

    Does big brother program cover the expenses of activities?

      No. Some parents might pay for something but don’t expect it.

      Contact your local BBBS and they will get a meeting set up and go over all the info with you!

    Hi question for you when going to places do you have to pay or does big brothers big sisters pay

    • @ExaminedLifeMitchelHarris
      @ExaminedLifeMitchelHarris  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We try to split to cost so that it's fair. But occasionally, Big Brothers will provide free tickets

    How do I register my child for a big brother? How old does he have to be?
