I had the opportunity to check out the new city at showroom what i noticed is the back seat head room is reduced so much than the previous models my head literally touches the roof (im 5.11) which is a serious negative point in my opinion.. People either have to slouch to sit better which gives you a back ache for sure or have to sit straight and break your head and neck whenever there comes a speed breaker or a pot hole.. Your choice :)
There is no point in reviewing the top spec car in every review as only few people will opt for it.
Shams T top spec variant should be the only variant reviewing because it has all the features which the car has, if other people are poor to not buy the top variant it's their problem.

This is a good and comprehensive review of the ZX i-DTEC variant.
Since Honda has launched a 20th anniversary edition with cosmetic updates, maybe you guys should choose that to give us a review of the ZX CVT petrol with paddle shifters. All the major motoring journalists have skipped on that; You guys can be the first.

With the price of top end ZX variant, one can go for the more powerful (152bhp) and luxurious Elantra 2016.

Anil C T boot space of elentra is smaller than city. Honda is much better than Hyundai in dynamics and ride handling
umang Gala Honda city driving Dynamics is better than Verna and Old 2010 Elantra. The new 2016 one, belive me has reworked suspension with weighted steering for excellent high speed handling. (But of course not as great as an Octavia/Jetta)
why don't you review the petrol city?
the i-vtec engine is excellent
Should have selected some twisty roads to find out if the seats hold you well and how the drivers wheel responded. Good job anyways ☺️

Last month May 2017 I took the test drive of both cars Petrol CIaz Alpha and Petrol City VX versions before coming on short official trip to UK. Once I reach India in Sep 2017 I am will decide one among these two, I am Inclined towards City but 3 lakh price diff among these is another factor which throws me towards Ciaz. 3 Lakh is good amount i can buy one sport bike.
BHP and similar other points does not matter as they are neck-in-neck, suffice the need as buying this car for office and City drive purpose. Below are my observations so far and its my personal observation may differ from yours and not any intentions to hurt anyone's feeling here.
What I Liked in Ciaz Alpha Petrol
1. Awesome product from Maruti Suzuki after long time.
2. Side look is 1000 times better than city.
3. Long Car, Side profile reminds me my Honda Accord 2014 model which I bought in USA. It’s really Long Car which is good for Indian Families these days. Number claims that city is 50 MM shorter then Ciaz but it appears city is 100 MM shorter than Ciaz.
4. Good Mileage compared to city.
5. Comfortable ride and spacious than City.
6. Good price of Alpha, 3 lakh’s cheaper then City Vx.
What I did not like in Ciaz Alpha Petrol
1. Does not look a solid build from outside. City Looks solid Build from Outside.
2. Front headlamp does not go well with overall front look but overall front look is simple and good.
3. Quality of plastic found better in city facelift 2017
4. New Product has all the bells and whistles but it does not have that premium tag yet which might come after few years, that’s where Maruti has been struggling since last many years, hope this product will fill that gap now after some time.
5. Not Face Turner Yet.
6. City Steering gives better feel then CIaz.
What I liked in City Vx Petrol
1. Most of the things are good in city but few worth to mention which I liked
2. Front look is well proportionate and looks awesome and Check for me.
3. Side profile looks good and well proportionate but not awesome, this is also Check for me.
4. City’s interior cabin is much luxurious then Ciaz Alpha. Big Check
5. City’s overall Design. Big Check
What I did not like in City Vx Petrol
1. Looks small (Length + Width) overall in size compared to Ciaz.
2. City Vx 3 lakh’s expensive than Ciaz Alpha. Big Amount, can buy one Sport Bike.
3. 2017 Facelift looks tiny compared to old one at this price tag.
It's high time that you people start talking about the safety of the cars you review. You don't describe how the car faired in CRASH test,cars structural stability. All you are bothered is about the size of touch screen.

Has LED lights just to look expensive to those who dont know much about cars
but doesnt even have parking sensors
Hyundai Elantra is a better option for this top spec model

some rainzzz elantra is not in the same segment as city, it one segmemt above
some rainzzz not everyone buys the ZX varients the lower varients are much cheaper
Elantra top end version is more than 4L.

The torque of 200nm can't be at 3600 rpm, its at 1750 rpm :)

Nothing can beat Honda City. Honda City offers much more features than Hyundai Elantra and the dash is much more good - looking.
Please don't compare the two. Verna=City=Ciaz...; Elantra=Civic=Corolla

Hello, can anyone update if Honda has addressed the low-suspension issue in the City? the car used to take a hit underneath the chassis even for small humps on the road.

After watching many reviews in 2015 we bought Diesel Honda City...but no one then & even now reviewed headlights...
Honda City is partially blind at nights... Now only in topend they provide LED..
On highways it's very hard to drive above 90kmph as the cattle/parked vehicles are not visible..
I'll say Tata Vista headlights were far better than Honda City's headlights.
Please do review night time visibility of the cars..

technologic looks the same because it is just a facelift not a model revamp. No facelift is meant to completely redesign a car. What did you expect?

Its been few days iv been searching for digipad update or upgrade for my Honda City 2017 model. But I couldn't find any info online.
Could you please help me and other honda city owners by fetching information on digipad update or upgrade from your sources.

honestly guys, this update is nothing, but spoiling the original beauty of the city. except the exteriors, every other update is nice but it would have been good, if exteriors were carried over unchanged. don't you think? give a reply on my comment!
